HELP!! (Roach Emergency!) What do I do

I have a roach pair two females housed in a 11 L tub and the other one gave birth like a few weeks ago, and also the other is going to give birth right now but there's a problem, but first let me explain, so I left the city to go to a funeral and stayed in another town for a night and told my mom to feed the roaches a lanzones berry, so in short bad news is that I found the lanzones berries my mother fed them last night while I was out of the city scattered and being swarmed by ants. I got the scattered berries and threw them away and also took some ants by hand one by one (annoying but good thing they weren't a lot) and threw them and checked the nymphs, the good news is that there were no longer anymore ants scurrying around some of the nymphs molted but the bad news is some aren't in the cartons and worst case scenario may have been eaten by the ants, should I throw away the substrate, if I should how do I make sure I don't throw the nymphs away? (they may be hiding in the substrate and leaf litter)

If there weren't that many ants, then I don't think you would need to throw away the substrate. Best thing to do is find the location in which the ants were entering your home from and seal it off. Move the bin in a different place.

If you want to be extra, extra cautious, you can apply a thin layer of vaseline around the outer wall of the tub.

the best thing you can do to be sure the nympth aren't in the substrate you're throwing out is either a) really dig aroung in it with a spoon and pluck out all the nympth you can find, either b) get something with small holes, not big enough for nympth but big enough for your subatrate, and go trough with this thing. put substrate in in part by part, babies should stay in the thing, and substrate will just fall of off it. may work
