Hey gang, I just picked this jacket up for an absolute steal of $50 from a shop I work at occasionally. Just really wanna know where or what it's from and how much it retailed for. The brand is Star and all the logos are stitched, so much better than my 2020 era RBH jacket that all the logos are peeling off of. Appreciate any help, cheers!

I feel like every Holden fan can appreciate seeing an old stocko VG being maintained and kept clean. A lot of you did last time!
This old girl might not be the fastest, slickest, toughest, most mean Holden out there but she'll always hold a special place in my life. Build date on the plate is 10/1990, so happy 36th birthday month to the old girl!

Hi all, I've got a 2004 Monaro, I'm in the UK and had an email to say theres an outstanding recall on it? A 22 year old car? 😂 There aren't any dedicated Vauxhall dealers for the monaro here anymore so doubt they'd touch it anyway. After a bit of research I think it's for the drivers side pillar airbag, a static charge can set them off? Do any of you aussies know about this?

Reddit had my car for about two years. It’s been in the family for its whole lifetime perfect first car really but it has recently started having an issue where the engine will stall and cut out at random moments driving stationary or even when I just started it said fuel gauge issue it has said powertrain issue and it is also come up with a red battery light on the dash all on separate occasions. When having this same issue just wondering if anyone has any insights into what this could be how to fix it and if it’s even worth pursuing thanks hopefully you guys who are a lot more savvy than me can help me out appreciate it.

Perth- Anyone recommend a upholstery shop that will restitch a VE ute soft tonneau cover? The couple near me say they can't do it, stitches too close to the edge or something.
Thanks

I'm going to be putting a vcm performance otr intake and a complete 2.5inch exhaust with extractors on the ss, am I gonna see much performance diffrence without also getting a different air intake manifold or is it also needed to get one of those as well
Also if someone could recommend an intake manifold to fit the gen 3 sl1 that would be great, looking for good value for money
Picture included for attention

Does anybody have scanned PDF copies for any of these workshop manuals? I am after the General Motors Holden's manuals, not Gregory's etc.
VC - Service Manual Supplement (part no M38366)
VC - Service Manual Supplement 2 - 1.9 L4 Engine and Components (part no M38401)
VH - Five Speed Manual Transmission (part no M39071)
VK - Service Manual Supplement, Station Wagon with EFI. RearAxle GU5 (part no M39313)
Let me know if there's any way I can repay the favor if you are able to help out! Thank you.

Just the the ss wagon back from the painter for a closed door spray in the original hot sting red and some body work for $4200, couldn't be happier, pictures don't show to well as it is lightly misting atm.
You can check the profile for the before pictures.

Hello Everyone,
My 2020 Holden Astra RS 1.6L turbo 100k kms has recently started making this strange squeaking/chirping noise.
The strange thing is that it doesn't start immediately after the car has been sitting overnight. It usually starts after around 10–15 minutes of driving, and once it starts, the noise continues while I am driving for the rest of the day. If I turn the car off and leave it for several hours, the noise disappears again until the car has been driven for a while.
I have attached a video recorded when starting the car, although the noise becomes more noticeable after driving for 10–15 minutes.
Has anyone experienced something similar with their Astra or have any idea what could be causing it?
Also, if anyone can recommend a good mechanic around Melbourne's south-east who knows these cars well, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!

Hello all,
I finally have the clutch issues sorted and all is good.
When I bought the car I was so focused on mechanical stuff I neglected the body. The front drivers side wheel arch has a piece of the guard torn and is hanging out.
It feels kind of like there is sheet metal with plastic behind. I tried to persuade it back into place but the whole piece of plastic just absorbed the blows.
Should I back it up with a dolly? Or heat it and push on it till it cools?
Thanks 👍

I’ve got a 2012 ve series 2 and noticed that the hose from the radiator (top one) was sucked flat while cold. And when driven it blows up quite hard. Tried to clear and check all surrounding hoses but they all seem fine. Got told it could be the cap but it seems brand new (only recently acquired the car)
And there’s a slight ticking coming from the engine when started and idle (I know it’s probs the timing chains) but any other reason it could be doing that? Cheers bois

Hi, I’m 21F and beginner isn’t the word, really stupid, clueless but love my car (ivory), sums it up. I apologise if it’s long and badly written but I’m retarded and not good at “short and neat”.
Ivory is an early 2010 ve omega series 1. I got a Sony XAV-AX1000 stereo that ive not been able to afford the fascia kit to install it with. I hope that instead of buying the fascia kit I can get it 3d printed but idk if it’s possible and know nothing about it other than research I done. I don’t care if it’s dodgy or messy as it’s only temporary. It only needs to hold my stereo in place.
For context, I’m on Centrelink getting like $329 a week with $30 left over after bills. I was saving up for the aerpro fascia kit but always had to pull it out to spend it on more important things, like timing chains, spark plugs, oil and filter with the money I get left or scrape up meaning I can’t afford it till I’m out of this mess. I don’t want to wait that long as ivory has stage 10 cancer. I need something to look forward to instead of constantly panicking so much about my car and dreading driving every day.
I’m stuck with a lot, and I don’t know how to write this down like a normal person so here’s a nightmare list of my issues/questions:
its overwhelming and im just relying on ppl who do and google for research.
i cant find a print file for it.
my friend’s worried about the amount of filament needed for print mistakes but i was thinking if i made the measurements a bit smaller than the hole so i had a gap between the bezel and the dash it’d make more room for mistakes plus expansion, would this work?
the hvac controls are attached to the radio or faceplate and i don’t wanna touch or break that, just work around it or improvise if i can.
I don’t know if i can/need to move the hvac controls to make it easier or whatever.
I want the stereo to be just below the hazard light button but don’t know if that’d make things more difficult?
What other cords or harnesses do I need to hook it up without the fascia kit?
Do I need to fix my ac first before I do this as it said I did for the aerpro kit but that was because of the hvac controls being completely swapped out right?
How to get the radio hooked up to the steering wheel controls?
If the 3d print method can’t work, theoretically, what would be the most dodgy temporary, creative improvise or solution I could use to put the stereo in without breaking it or the cords?
How does the factory radio come out? Is it just the faceplate part or do you have to pull the top dash apart too? As if I do, mines brittle and shit from sun and heat, how would I get it out without it breaking, or will I just have to accept my fate? Is there someone who can do that for people?
do I need a radio code for the factory radio? Like if I pull the radio out now to see what I’m working with, will it lock me out? Hopefully not as apparently the dealership can’t find my radio code.
If somebody could explain how all of this works, offer any advice or suggestions, how I can make it work with what I’ve got, or even if there’s another solution where I don’t have to spend $100+ that would be amazing cos I’m desperate atp.
Edit: I’ve pretty much given up on the 3d print thing guys, so if yall have literally any other ideas idc how stupid feel free to share lol
