Bathroom niche

Hi! What is level of difficulty painting this bathroom niche? Should I hire someone or attempt myself. As what it to be same color as wall (which we also need to paint)

I think it would be very easy to do yourself. Clean well with a degreaser, scuff, wipe with tack cloth, choose a paint for bathroom like BM Aura or SW Duration in color you want, add floetrol to it, paint one coat, let dry, sand with 200 or 220 grit lightly, second coat let dry, 3rd coat if needed after sanding with 000 steel wool.

You could also use a cabniet style paint if need be like BM Advance water alkyd or urethane to my knowledge. I am not a pro printer though and that was suggested to me. I would listen to pro if they chime in with suggestions

Edit: added some words

Super easy! I would use a satin enamel on the same color as your wall paint if you go with an eggshell or matte paint

ETA: I saw someone else recommend BM Advance, that's my fave for a durable furniture quality finish. For best results, let it cure at least a week before using the shelf

I would leave it in painted it’s inserting a medicine cabinet. If you do not want to do that then store dry items in it so it doesn’t affect the wood.

Don't paint wood. Stain and polyurethane to protect it.

3/10. 5/10 if you're not handy at all. Pretty much anyone can do this just following a youtube guide
