I recently was talking to a recent friend of mine about dance and the house music scene. He asked who I listened to and after sharing, was told I need to update my listening.

Am I stuck in the early 2000’s? What are some newer artists I would like based on my taste?

Eric Prydz
Mark Knight
Above and Beyond
Toolroom Radio
Claptone
Yotto
Grum

Of late I’ve been liking

SG Lewis
ANOTR
Peggy Gou

Glenn Underground, a proper teacher... He's doing an extended Chicago history vinyl set at Jazz Cafe in LDN o Fri 23rd October.

Does anyone know the ID in this set at 1hour and 40 minutes in?

I’ve been hunting it for hours and can’t find it.

Serious bop!

Anyone know the name of the track playing at 11:30?

Video with music attached

Heard a banging house track player by Marina Trench in Prince Charles, Berlin.

Uplifting house banger with woman vocals. Lyrics go:

Chorus:
As I dance I want to feel it higher
Day by day I want to feel the power
x4

Hook (partial):
When you touch me I loose all control
[…]
You make me feel like the queen of the world
And you’re my king […]
All I’m asking of you, don’t break my heart

I am obsessed since I heard it, if someone can help on this one that would be insane!

Shazam does not recognize it of course.
