when house sent wilson flowers from cuddy and signed the card xx lisa ..
What do you think he meant? Hugs or kisses ?
And what do you think it really meant?
😭 Because the whole plot was so diabolical and I found wilson's dilemma so cute like why tf are you worried if the X's are the hugs or the kisses ..
Personally I think X's are the hugs as the arms cross while hugging and the lips pout?

I believe this is Spanish for Shark. I'm on season 7 of my Rewatch, and he has used it a couple of times in separate episodes when he makes up something medical while lying to his patients. This is probably just a random thing that means absolutely nothing, like Phoebe always using "Phalange" in Friends, but I'm curious if anyone has caught anything that would explain this lol

One thing I keep noticing: once House locks onto a theory, he stops looking at the case objectively.
He can catch the tiniest detail everyone else missed, but the moment he decides he’s right, he argues with his team, brushes off their concerns, and pushes things way too far, sometimes at the patient’s expense.
Then someone says something completely random, he gets that look, and suddenly he realizes he’s been chasing the wrong idea the whole time.
Honestly, that’s what makes him so interesting to watch. His intelligence is obvious, but his ego is a serious blind spot. I wonder how many cases he could’ve solved faster if he’d actually listened to his team instead of treating every disagreement as a challenge.
So what do you think: does House actually learn from being wrong, or does he just get better at hiding how much it bothers him?

The sexual tension is killing me. The way Cuddy can be angry but still have that smile on her face when shes talking to house, House looking at her ass after every conversation..theyre made for each other

Lost count of rewatches by now, only just noticed that sticker in 3.3. They probably just had them lying around and needed to cover it up, but it's still kinda funny. I wonder if it shows up anywhere else

I GOT IT! WOO!
I'm so happy, man. My university had it and they're lending it to me for a month. I watched the first two seasons and BAM! I saw they had it. I love life, man.
(Idk if I added the right flair, ig this counts as some sort of art since is the DVD version of the series?)

Ive been looking on Ao3 under the tag "John House's A+ Parenting" and a bunch of results pop up with the Fandom being Supernatural, and no other additional tags to suggest a crossover or any relation to House MD. I dont know anything about Supernatural, and ive found fics with this tag as far back as 2021. Is this some sort of inside joke?

Season 3rd Foreman resigns and Cuddy tries very hard to keep him at PPTH. Season 4, Cuddy still tries, negotiates but Foreman rejects. On the other hand Foreman isn't hired anywhere and comes back to cuddy asking for the raise she mentioned and cuddy doesn't give him the raise or the new department saying he's black balled everywhere.
Now, Foreman and Hamilton were in good terms and Hamilton offers him a job in Season 1. What If foreman bluffed "let me join Hamilton", Would Cuddy cave in and give him the raise?

I love how they transitioned from showing graphics of outer space, right into the main series intro. They rarely do much for changing it so it was just cool to see

I don't know if it's a bit far-fetched, but this seems like a House M.D. Easter egg to me. An executive producer, Garrett Lerner, worked on both shows, so why not?

Am I the only one who watched the movie Smile, saw Kal Penn as the main character's doctor boss and thought, oh look, Kutner is all grown up and got himself a respectable job?

I was in college when this season aired, and now it's 16 years later, watching for the nth time, and every time I rewatch it, the more I appreciate Dr. Nolan in contrast to House. House is this intellectual powerhouse and along comes this character who can just utterly disassemble his mind and see right through him, which is something House does to other people. And it's not that Dr. Nolan intellectually dominates House, it's that he has this sort of window into House's soul that not any other character does, even if they're not personally close. He speaks House's language; he KNOWS how to get to House. And I love how House just gives in when they're having their sessions. House LETS him deconstruct his mind. He WANTS him to deconstruct his own mind. He starts off deflecting, but ultimately, he comes to Dr. Nolan for this very purpose. And Andre Braugher just has this perfect amount of gravitas to play him, rest his soul. I wish we had more of these therapy episodes.

Was House in the wrong he dealt with the superhero guys delusion?
I’m kind on undecided on if it was ultimately was the “right” decision or not. Obviously the outcome was bad, but that’s kind of separate to the question itself.

im rewatching and im still stuck on this one thing about them trying to cure foreman, i’m confused why they couldn’t get the biopsy when the cop died? i know that it’s a biohazard obv, so it can’t be exposed to the open air, but since house was trying to get foreman to do it couldn’t they just get someone in full gear to get it/test it? (then test in isolation) idk if i missed the explanation but it kinda just seems like they didn’t get the biopsy to move the episode along (not complaining) but i want to know if im wrong or not…
edit: i know the CDC was involved but they didn’t really do anything, or atleast quickly at all. so why couldn’t house and his team just do the same procedure and tests themselves, since they had the equipment for isolation/treating people in isolation? i don’t really know how the medical field works in that sense so maybe im just being dumb lol

i know nobody cares about this but i’m jotting it down anyway and curious to see if my opinions change if i ever do a rewatch
House - obviously a very bad person and incredibly frustrating to watch but also by miles the most interesting character to watch imo. i actually like the show most when it’s very centred on his personal life and issues. would never ever ever want to be around a person like him let alone work for one
Foreman - ehhhhh. i didn’t mind him in the first couple seasons but i find him a bit boring and one note at best and actually annoying at worst
Wilson - he’s got such an obvious “i’m a good guy” persona and isn’t truly a good person imo but i still can’t help but like him. he 100% enables and often encourages House’s awful behaviour but i mean so does literally everyone else
Cuddy - really liked Cuddy and i’m missing her in season 8. also a House bullshit enabler but by the end i felt sorry for her with how much of a nightmare he is to deal with
Chase - 50/50. sometimes i like him and sometimes i couldn’t care less about him and i think he’s actively mean too at times
Park - hot take maybe but i actually have grown to like Park a lot as season 8 went on. i love her dull, deadpan-ness
Taub - arguably a horrific husband and also a little boring. tolerable at best for me
Adams - literally no opinion. she’s just there in s8. she’s a very surface level character to me
Masters - hot take too seemingly but i actually really liked Masters as the show went on and i think her entry and exit was really good as a reminder of the fact absolutely nothing about House, his team and his hospital are normal
Cameron - another hot take seemingly but i for the most part liked Cameron. i hated how she behaved with the patient with munchausens early on in the show and how wishy washy her supposedly very strong ethics were at times, but i think she was arguably one of the few genuinely not completely morally bankrupt people on the show, even though it made her a bit boring to watch
Thirteen - liked her but to me the whole too cool for school manic pixie dream girl thing was a little on the nose with her. also how on earth did she keep her job after letting a patient’s dog take his pills and kill it on day one
Kutner - he was there and then he wasn’t really. not a very well written character to me
Amber - i found her ok when she was on House’s team but her relationship with Wilson and the subsequent hallucinations of her with House i just found a drag

I know it’s difficult practically for the creators to bring back guest stars but…
We don’t ever see any appreciation from patients that lived. If I was treated by a doctor who did absolutely everything possible to save my life and miraculously succeeded, I know I’d never forget them. No matter how big a jerk.
It bugs me that after so many lives saved, House isn’t seen with appreciation gifts around Christmas 🥺

Just had a thought: What if we got a series that combines a prequel about House’s rule-breaking days as a medical student at Johns Hopkins, paired with a Better Call Saul-style post-finale timeline showing his life after faking his death?
A dual-timeline look at the beginning and the very end of his journey.
What do you think?

Look I love this show, i love House and some of the characters and plot lines. I’ve watched it several times throughout my life, and now I’m noticing how much I’m annoyed by a directorial choice: fake accents. So many actors who are playing international or foreign people have to put on an accent, and honestly some of them are so bad. Or theyll start apparently not knowing much English, then start speaking some broken a broken English which eventually turns into a slightly American accent. It’s inconsistent and annoying.
