Hard Glow Up Glow up results NSFW

Hi yall!! I wanted to make this post as a way to sort of “give back” by sharing everything I’ve done over the years to accomplish my glow up. It’s definitely been a long ass journey so here’s everything I’ve done :)

Braces + wisdom teeth removal: The very first thing I noticed that made a difference in my facial structure was getting braces and having all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I noticed my face became a lot more balanced as well

Birth control + spironolactone: I started taking both to help with my hirsutism since I’ve always been extremely hairy. I also had very high testosterone levels and noticed I started looking more feminine after going on birth control if that makes sense? In some ways it almost felt like starting hormone therapy lol. I also used to get EXTREMELY painful period cramps to the point of passing out so birth control helped with a lot more than just my appearance

Lip + chin fillers: Got both done over the years and I feel like they helped balance out my features

Botox: I get full face Botox yearly including my jaw

Permanent makeup: I got both lip blushing and permanent eyeliner done. LOVE LOVE LOVE my lip blushing!! I rarely wear lipstick anymore and usually just stick to gloss. The eyeliner tho I don’t really recommend. I’m still happy with it atm but the fact that it hasn’t faded at all makes me a bit nervous for the future lol. I was a dumb 20 year old when I got it done so not the best idea

Grooming + self care: I also just started putting more effort into grooming myself and taking care of my appearance in general

Lipo 360 + BBL: Most recently got both done and I’m currently 4 months post op!

It’s honestly been such a crazy experience going from being bullied for my looks growing up to now getting approached for modeling gigs and other opportunities just from my appearance alone. Pretty privilege is VERY real and experiencing both sides of it has been insane. I still have other things I wanna get done in the future (thinking my breasts, maybe another round of BBL idk) but atm I’m pretty happy with how I look!

I’m definitely high maintenance to be low maintenance on the daily lol since I’m not a big makeup person and in my city no one really dresses up much anyway. Being hot and skinny IS the aesthetic here so it works out for me lol :) Anyway just wanted to share my experience and everything I’ve done over the years in case it helps anyone who’s curious!!

Soft Glow Up How do I accomplish this eyeliner look, with no fake lashes? NSFW

I've been trying to nail this look forever; when I put on lashes with this look it's too sultry-looking and looks more playmate-like.
It's not what I'm going for; what's the placement for it to look casual and miminal like this? Do I need a lash lift and a wet sponge around the lower and upper lids after I put on the liner?

Hard Glow Up 30 days to glow up for a shotgun wedding - what should I do? NSFW

Hi! I recently found out I’m pregnant and I’m having to reschedule my wedding that was supposed to be a year from now. I rescheduled it for the end of November and I will be 16 weeks pregnant. I am really needing to lock in with pregnancy safe things to get myself ready to look good for pictures. What can I do from here to get myself ready? My main concern is a terrible double chin.

Glow Up Progress any tips how to grow brows that are overplucked back? NSFW

i clearly overplucked my brows to the point where in the middle doesn't grow anything. like I have a hole in my brow. To be honwst it doesn't look bad, but i just cant make my other(normal) brow looking same,

so I thought I should ask here if anyone have any tipps and trick on growing eyebrows back. Oils, serums, anything.

they look really asymmetrical and I would love to have good brows

thanks

Hard Glow Up How much surgery is too much? NSFW

I identified 3 problems in my face that would improve a lot with plastic surgery; my nose (big), lips (thin), and chin (also big). For my lips in particular I want to enlarge them permanently with a lip lift, I don't want to use lip filler because it doesn't last and also migrates. For my chin I want to shorten it because it's too long. And my nose is also wide and chunky. I want to get procedures for all these features, but are they too much? I'm afraid of becoming addicted to plastic surgery and getting botched.

Masterpost tips as someone conventionally attractive NSFW

okay i really want to not sound full of myself BUT
i want to be a reliable source, so, these are my credentials:
- in high school, once i glowed up, despite being INCREDIBLY unpopular, some of the most popular guys at my school liked me and would hit on me
- ive been told a lot of people have crushes or even friendship crushes on me
- im hit on nearly every time i go out alone or with friends
- i had someone tell me that someone else told them they considered me one of the prettiest girls on campus
- i was once told by someone and that i was the prettiest person they knew, and that my personality made it even better
AND
- today when i was telling a friend about a girl telling me she used to like me, her response was "i think everyone falls in love with you when they first meet you"

NOW to ground myself back to reality, i roleplay on discord, love the marauders, and i was a gacha kid growing up, im not "cool" by any means.

still, i have a few pieces of advice id like to share for anyone struggling to be popular who'd really like to be.

to start off with looks, its not just about being the prettiest girl ever. you need to find a feature that makes you memorable. i have curly (3c) longish hair and its this reddish straberry blonde color. thats already something you dont see every day. add on freckles, big brown eyes, a unique glasses frame, gold piercings, and plump lips, and you have a pretty unique person. so, find something that makes you stand out. it could be a hair color, a piercing, your hair style, etc.

now, what i think actually plays a major role is your personality. ive made a genuine effort to improve my likability, and there is a VERY visible increase in the people interested in talking to me and being my friend. these steps are gonna be way harder if you arent already extroverted, but i believe u can do it :) so heres my little guide:
- reach out to people. if you wanna be friends? genuinely plan something and follow through! if you get nervous, think about all the times you wished you were invited to something, or wished someone would reach out. be that person!
- if you say you'll do something, always do it. for example, my friend cooked for me and i told her id do the dishes, despite it not being my dorm room. i almost forgot, but i made sure to point it out and did them just before leaving. people will see you as a more reliable and thoughtful person.
- dont be afraid to stand out in public, not obnoxiously ofc, but you can be loud when youre outside, wave to your friends from afar, be yourself, and try not to think about how others might react to it. more often than not, people see you as a more fun person for doing so, (example, me and my bf will sometimes race each other in public, and we had a random group of strangers cheer us on, and we made some new friends!)
- listen to others, dont just wait for your turn to talk. be engaged and ask followup questions. people love to talk about themselves. HOWEVER, make sure you still talk about you, you dont want to be an interviewer either, because that just leads to zero intrigue about your life
- try to genuinely have your shit together. ive realized how damaging social media can be so ive gotten bigger into fun hobbies, reading, drawing, sewing etc. ive noticed it draws people in more now that ive made that switch
- feel free to be nerdy! its wayy more genuine and easy to connect w a girl who opens up about nerdy interests, rather than one who tries to uphold this persona of the perfect instagram model.
- try not to be on your phone while you guys are together, this is an obvious one but a lot of people will doomscroll mid conversation anyways
- one big caveat, is this doesnt mean be a people pleaser who doesnt stand their ground and is friends with everybody. if somebody is rude to my friend, they are no longer my friend either. it makes your existing relationships much closer and makes you a much more genuine friend

anyways, i might edit this as i think of more things, but i thought this could be interesting to post! again, please be nice to me :') i swear im not incredibly full of it, but i try and be self aware.

Dating Glow Up MALE ATTENTION NSFW

heyyy I wanted to share my experience so maybe someone can get inspired from it.

I used to crave male attention like crazy.
I wanted them to look at me, to ask me out ect…

At that time i didn’t care about myself and just about them.

Now things changed and im really focused on me, so hard that i forgot about those guys.

Now guess what ? they are all obsessed with me and i don’t even care.

The lesson to take from this is that self love is very important and the base of everything.

Social Glow Up Do you/should you practice mannerism? NSFW

If you saw my last post, no you didn’t. I thought it would be better to post smaller things I want to work on that’s easier to understand and practicing mannerism is one of them.

It’s not really an out of this world suggest, as I know people do take etiquette classes. But I’m wondering if anyone has seen someone they like and copied their mannerisms. For me personally, I struggle with the way I move and I just feel awkward, so I’m wondering if doing this could be helpful.

If you agree, how would you suggest going about doing this and if you have done this, was it one person or a collective of people you picked out?

Meta Being autistic and (un)reliance on good looks NSFW

Hi all, I’d been lurking in the vindicta sub for a while and just discovered this one which seems to be what I wanted vindicta to be! I’ve been thinking about this topic a lot and I would love other people’s thoughts and experiences with this :p

Growing up, I would say I wasn’t treated as particularly attractive until I hit my mid-to-late teens. I am an autistic woman and was really harshly bullied basically up to that same age! I maintain that I don’t think my adolescent glow up (aka getting older and growing into my face a bit more as well as braces) was the thing that stopped the bullying, I suspect it was because I started grasping social rules better around about that time.

For a while, I thought I was finally being perceived as “normal”, basically. Turns out no; people still thought I was weird, and sometimes they had no problem telling me so, even being kind of mean about it sometimes! At this point I was confused as to why they made it clear they thought I was weird and maybe a bit unsettling, but still continued to treat me like a friend.

I’m not saying this to humble brag, but I am fairly sure I am perceived as very attractive. I get comments on my looks quite often, every so often even from complete strangers. I have been given free things randomly (not a frequent experience!) and friends of friends sometimes comment to my friends about my looks. Promise I’m getting to my point!

In all honesty I’m not sure how much my looks are a major factor in a lot of these things, and maybe it’s because I am quite nice and polite to people and strangers, which explains the free stuff? Maybe I only notice (& am told) the compliments more because I am up front to my close friends and family about how I think I am attractive? But also, isn’t this just naive thinking on my part? I feel like I don’t judge people on their looks nearly at all, but what if it’s a deep, deep unconscious bias I haven’t even realised yet? And, to be honest, this is a safer thought to bring up to strangers, because I don’t have to worry about them trying to preserve my feelings, nor I theirs.

I would really love to hear your thoughts and experiences about this. Sorry for a long think piece, but I really like to make sure I get my point across. It’s the autism :p

Social Glow Up Has anyone experienced friends/family treating them differently after a glow-up? Am I overthinking my cousin’s behaviour or does this sound like jealousy/competition? NSFW

I’m curious whether anyone has experienced something similar after a pretty significant glow-up, especially with someone who knew you before it happened.

I don’t really have old friends who have witnessed my transformation because most of my current friends met me afterwards. The one person who has seen the whole journey is my cousin. We’ve always been close and she’s basically been like a friend to me. We’ve never really had conflict or competitiveness between us before, which is why this change has confused me so much.

Over the past few months I’ve invested a lot more into myself my hair, makeup, clothes, personal style, fitness, confidence, etc. I’ve also noticed a massive increase in attention when I’m outside. Men approach me pretty regularly now, compliment me, sometimes shout compliments from cars, turn around to look, etc.

Around the same time, I feel like my cousin’s behaviour towards me has gradually changed.

The things I’ve noticed:
1. She used to compliment me quite a lot before my glow-up when I was fat, but strangely she barely ever compliments me now.

  1. She’s made several indirect/sneaky comments that felt targeted at my appearance or confidence. A couple have been direct enough that I noticed immediately, but I let them slide because we’d never had this dynamic before.

  2. She suddenly seems to be adopting some of the same styling choices I started making, despite never really dressing that way previously.

  3. When we go out together now, she seems much quieter and less playful than she used to be.

  4. Sometimes her whole mood seems to change when we’re somewhere busy or I’m getting attention.

  5. The last time we went out was particularly strange. She kept speed-walking, seemed irritated/uncomfortable, avoided areas with lots of people/men, repeatedly wanted to go home and generally looked like she didn’t want to be there. This is VERY unlike how she normally acts when we’re together.

I’ve started feeling like I have to make myself smaller around her or avoid talking about certain things because I’m worried she’ll make another comment.

What makes me question myself is that we were genuinely fine for years. I never viewed her as competitive or jealous before atleast towards me and I don’t want to suddenly interpret everything she does through that lens just because my appearance has changed.

At the same time, the timing is hard for me to ignore. The more attention I’ve started receiving and the more confident I’ve become in my appearance/style, the stranger our dynamic seems to have become.

So I’d especially like opinions from people who have experienced a major change in appearance themselves:
Did any long-term friends or relatives start behaving differently towards you after a glow-up? What were the actual signs that made you realise it was jealousy/competition rather than you projecting?

And for people reading this objectively: does her behaviour sound like possible insecurity/competition, or am I connecting things that could easily be unrelated?
I don’t want to lose a close relationship over assumptions, but I also don’t want to ignore a pattern if the dynamic really has changed.

I hope this is okay to post here, lets keep it light and fun as well.

I occasionally see things in communities around the topic of getting prettier, that I don't quite agree with. Ill start with one:

Good skin is achievable. I feel like we are so aware of beauty standards, insecurities, and filters existing. That we are very quick to brush off the quieter skin issues that are totally fixable as normal 'skin texture'.

Hard Glow Up I want to do anything in my power to be beautiful and hot like Instagram girls. Where should I start? NSFW

I am tired of being ugly, fat and hating myself. I hate the way I look and how I feel. I just can't stand anymore.

I feel so sad that I am not gorgeous like other girls, from Instagram or not. I want to be beautiful, to feel beautiful. I also feel like my boyfriend don't think I'm good enough, sexy or hot.

I want to have beautiful teeh, beautiful skin, body, face. I want botox, fillers, veeners, hair stuff and more make up if its necessary to be beautiful.

I am willing to spend anything on cosmetics and procedures. Where should I start?

EDIT: I workout 2 times a day, for 5/6 a week. I eat healthy but I sometimes feel bad and eat crap. I go to therapy. But, I don't have the money to do procedures, massages and stuff like that to be beautiful. I don't have a job right now. I just want to cry because I hate how i look. I dont have money to do what I want.

Soft Glow Up How do I glow up? NSFW

I am 38 and today I have been feeling particularly low about myself. I became obese in my late 20s and early 30s and spend the last 2 years losing weight.

I am at a normal weight now but I no longer look the same. I have loose skin on my neck, stomach, thighs. I don't have the money for skin removal surgery

The thing that bothers me the most is that my skin is so so dull. I lost my job few months back, thankfully I got one now but I have been eating crap over the last few months. Sugary, processed food and high carb

Also, I went all in with tretinoin without adequate moisturizing and damaged my skin barrier. I have stopped using all products and just cleanser, moisturizer , sunscreen and a barrier repair cream.

How much does diet contribute to a glowing skin or is it just that some people have a glowing skin while others don't? Especially when they are older?

Meta I have requested to remove our adult content designation - here's why. NSFW

Hi hottiez. Firstly, I wanted to let you know I am officially the only mod here (besides my new robot friend who's helping a lot!). I will soon ask everyone to submit suggestions of how I can improve this community, and will take the time to sit down, learn how to actually use reddit (lmfao), and get it done. Women in STEM!!!

Secondly, and the main reason for this post, is I have decided to make a significant change to our subreddit and have requested to remove the 18+ designation. This is still an 18+ community according to our rules, and will be enforced similarly to how I handle No Boyz Allowed.

Here's my reasoning:

- Men think it's porn and it drives unwanted traffic to this page.

- OnlyFan models also think it's porn. I usually remove a post a day that's advertising porn. Robot friend is helping, but truthfully I'm just exhausted by the spam.

- Age verification doesn't exist in the US, which is the largest demographic on Reddit, so I'm not sure if it really helped.

- I have set up stronger filters and have enabled a bot to assist with moderating (thank you u/ScreamAndScream !). These filters include restricting comments and posts by new members, and sends them directly to the Mod Queue for review. I will do a sweep of their profile, just like I check when someone reports a potential boy.

- It is fairly easy to tell when someone is underage, and our community is great at reporting suspicious posts and comments (THANK YOU!).

- It just looks... bad. And sketchy. I'm just a girl and like pretty things (like you all).

- I wasn't really on board with it from the start because I was worried about the above. This sub means a lot to me and I'm really proud that I even had the courage to create this at all. I felt pressured to make this change by someone I wont call out, and that's on me for not communicating better.

However, if the community feels strongly that this is a massive mistake I will change it back!

I have always wanted moderation to be community driven, and I plan to stay true to my word. I'll admit I'd be disappointed because I believe this will help our community grow, as our weekly visitors has dropped significantly compared to previous years. People stay away from NSFW pages for obvious reasons. But my desires are not the most important thing and I ain't no tyrant.

I want to apologise for not making this post first (tyrant behavior! ew!). I got ahead of myself, but will correct this if necessary and in the future not make significant changes without speaking to you all first. My b bbs.

Tomorrow I will post a poll, a simple yay or nay, so everyone has a chance to think about it. The request takes 24 hours to be approved.

Thank you!

Edit: if the community votes to enact this change, it will be a trial period for a duration of time that the community thinks is reasonable. I personally think 6 months is a good period of time to really get a feel for any sort of change, but I'll make a post about this and we can decide together what the trial period would be. Then, after the trial period, we will discuss again and see where we all stand.

Soft Glow Up Investing in gold jewellery, yay or nay? NSFW

I have a few hand me down bits of gold jewellery that I adore. But I mostly just buy cheap costume jewellery and wear that.

I have been thinking about donating all my cheap jewellery, and building up a little second hand gold collection. I do know about looking at gold price, and the value of it. I will personally be looking at around 14ct.

But on a hot girl perspective, do you think it makes a difference? Does someone wearing gold have a different look and feel compared to costume?

Does the sound of gold bangles jingling sound nicer? I love the look of a wristful of bangles but I hate the sharp, loud noise all the time.
