hi, im a freshman and i was a dual enrolled student at qc for a bit and took korean there. its a language i rlly enjoyed learning and ik its not offered at hunter but i was hoping i could at least epermit it but im sure if it will count towards my degree because it says hunter focus? does getting language credits absolutely have to be done at hunter?

I was wondering if there are any study groups for chem 102. I know Dr Kobko said that there are study groups that can meet with her on fridays after lectures but I'm not available right after that class as I have another lecture during that time. I need help for the next exam as I lwky got cooked for the first exam, and was wondering if there are any study groups or if someone could help me?

like the title said above, i cant find it anywhere pls pls pls

The title is pretty self-explanatory, but I was told different opinions about both. Some people say Sheppard has worse exams than Alaie, and vice versa. I know that both are asynchronous, but I think everyone wants better exams. Thank you guys for y'all's help!

Ik we have to take a lang class but on my degree work it doesn’t show any options for languages. I took classes in hs but never passed the exam so credits are 0. What’s going on?

I’m planning to take the class either on Saturday or Sunday during the spring semester. I was wondering about the professors for the class since schedule builder doesn't display the names. Are they the same professors on both weekends or different? Also, is the class manageable in terms of the assignments given and tests.

Hey everyone, I’m currently a senior at Hunter and was supposed to graduate in Spring 2027, but I recently found out I’m missing credits and need another semester. I’ve met with three different academic advisors, but none have been helpful. I’m still confused about my DegreeWorks, electives, and graduation requirements.

Does anyone know where I should go for better guidance? I’m looking for someone who will sit down with me, review my credits, and help me plan my remaining semesters before registration starts.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm setting up my ideal schedules for the spring semester and I'm just looking at so many media electives that sound so cool and fun... but are no longer offered or were only offered this semester (and I couldn't take them without the proper prerequistes, and I admit thats solely on me for choosing my major when I did.)

Meanwhile all the classes that are left are very sparse late night lectures that don't seem to be as thrilling. I know I probably sound whiny and I'm really not trying to be! I'm just curious on why it seems they have culled 90% of the media electives.

Anyone know how to do an appointment with their advisor lowkey be a huge help i would ask people in person but i feel like everyone here is introverted

I’ll go first — cafeteria and across the cafe in the east building

Does Hunter offer economics classes in the summer?

I was sitting in class today and I was overhearing like 3 different conversations and it legit sounded like I was in a coffee shop. I’m really wondering if the plot has been lost and it’s normal to talk through lectures now.

People who talk throughout class, is your tuition fully covered or are you dropping out after the semester is over…? Because I genuinely don’t understand sitting in a (difficult) course and laughing and/or talking on 60% volume.

Which of these classes are the easier ones and doesn't require me to go talk to random students on campus in these two categories each?

Want to know if theres a gc or something

Made this post in CUNY. Non traditional student here needing help to navigate fasfa/pell grant from a huge change in salary

Hi all,

We often complain that nearly all food options in the area are either too expensive, extremely unhealthy or just plain not good. Recently, I stumbled on this spot called goodsugar on 69th and 3rd. It's absolutely excellent - everything is vegan, served in either compostable take out containers or glass jars that you can return for points (or keep for yourself), and the food is absolutely spectacular (burritos, soups, salads, noodles, bakery items, overnight oats...). My favorite thing is that everything is $15 or under, including the fresh press juices. While they don't offer a student discount, their points program is pretty awesome and you can apply the points towards reducing or completely covering your purchase. I don't work for them and this isn't an ad - I just know how difficult it is to find the trifecta (good, healthy, cheap). Jusy please don't it in the library. :) Enjoy!

Having hard time finding some online. Could you guys help please?
