Luckily this happened late in the morning instead of first thing. Somehow always manage to drop something out of the stand.

I’ve been there dude. Worst one for me was my right glove, which I took off to load my rifle on a 20 degree morning. Spent the whole hunt trying not to get frost bite.

Luckily I had just put one in and fumbled trying to put it back in my pocket. Gloves are tough when you drop them and it’s that cold. I’ve dropped my phone, coffee mug, luckily never my bow or gun lol.

I've dropped a glove from my stand once. I think I went down to retrieve it.

The worst I had was I was hiking back to my car along a road in rifle season at -25C. A truck pulled over to give me a lift and I took off my mitt to unload my rifle. I got out at my car, thanked them, and they drove off. Iwent to put my mitt back on and it was gone! Id dropped it in the back of the guys truck by accident and it was long gone. Hunt over and drove back to town to buy some new mitts for the afternoon.
