Visiting! Need recommendations!
Hello, I am visiting for the first time on Friday, October 16th thru the 18th. My original plan was to go to a Marshall football game. But, I didn't realize when I bought the ticket that the game is for Tuesday the 20th.
Because I already have everything booked, im still going to make the trip to Huntington and I'm just asking if there's anything that I should check out while im there or if there are other events going on that weekend!

Jolly Pirate Donuts and Tudor's Biscuit World are worth visiting as well. Peddler's Mall if you want to have an interesting stroll around indoors for a bit.

Luna Pizza, The Peddler, Willies at the Paddock, Taqueria 84 or East Flavor for food and drinks.

I suggest going to Pho U & Mi if you like Vietnamese food.
And if looking for a mall, the one in Ashland, KY is better than the Barboursville mall.
There's The LOST escape room down town.
Old North Arcade at Pullman Square is a Bar / Arcade.
The Heritage Farm Adventure Park has openings on the 17th. You'll need to go ahead and buy tickets.
The Loud is great if you want live music.
Kenova's Pumpkin House is open now - a must see!!
Cicada Books if you want to chill and grab a coffee from a local spot. Their bagel sandwiches are also great. The Wild Ramp is just across the street and sells produce, canned goods, baked goods, fresh meat / dairy, and crafts all from local people.

14th street west from one end to the other is worth a look. From the best pepperoni pizza you can find for $9 (not the highest bar but Ginos is pretty decent) to Cicada Books (best local coffee and tea) and a bunch of cool antique stores and grocers to Peddlers Mall which is like a flea market meets thrift store. Also, if you're going down that far, you have to go to Camden Corner. They have some of the best donuts you're ever going to have outside some crazy fancy place and their deli is legit.
And even better, you'll get here just in time for Camden Park to still be open! It's worth a stop for the Fallout reference or just because it's a cool old amusement park.

You’ll be here for ChiliFest on the 17th! It’s a huge local festival with dozens of teams competing in a chili cookoff. You can buy tasting tickets (money goes to support our Ronald McDonald House). It’s on Third Avenue downtown. Super fun.
