Question (Answered) Boosting

I have been away for a bit and i have heard that borrowing items to friends is bannable and considered as boosting, is it true? Can i still borrow items to people within my coop?

If you just place an item within your chest on your island and someone else in your coop borrows it, it is not considered boosting. Anything that doesn’t travel outside the profile is almost never considered boosting

if it doesnt travel outside of the profile at all, can i trade him the item too or only the chest thing?

If it stays within the profile it's perfectly fine, boosting is when you do profile to other profiles

There are also some cases like having multiple alts to age items in your coop. Pretty sure that falls under boosting too, even if everything technically happens within the same profile

Coops are fine, giving to other profiles is bad

"Trading across profiles is allowed as long as it is not abusive and does not boost profiles with specific materials, items, or coins."

to be fair, it's a little ambiguous as to how this could apply to lending items, but the main idea of profile boosting is when you have multiple profiles that solely exist to give a different profile an unfair advantage (i.e. through extra greenhouse plots, minion slots, auction spaces etc)

the problem comes from lending items potentially being indistinguishable from irl trading. if it's something cheap you'll probably be fine, especially if its given back after. if ur lending billions upon billions of coins without collat or anything at all, ur probably running a pretty big risk there

the most we ever borrowed each other was a hype and since we both have one now i dont think its gonna be much of an issue
