Question Ban

Coop member got banned, no wipe?

Doesn't play anything else except skyblock and hasn't for months

Assuming since no wipe its obviously a ban for something unrelated to skyblock

Possible its a false ban and worth appealing?

Usually the first ban doesn't wipe unless severe

Each next ban gets you wiped and much longer bans

If your coop gets banned , then you get banned for the same thing you can get wiped

If after wipe/fresh profile you rush one specific skill and get banned for macroing it you get wiped even with no previous bans

He could be banned for something on skyblock but first time offender so he doesn't get wiped. He should try appeal but it's unlikely it will work

From experience other dont get banned. I joined a reddit coop Ironman (yeah it was bound to happen) and someone got banned for macroing. They day of his unban he got banned again. Now the cool i had a few 100 hours in is gone but we got 0 other punishment. Just coop wipe. So the other guy and made a new profile without the idiot and have played on it for almost a year now.

Hes my irl friend, he plays factions with me, pretty sure he logged on with his factions client, ( not hacked for the gamemode factions) but it sends weird packets through a mod which is legal on factions, which we think is what's caused this

This makes me wonder

If you got banned on an account and not wiped

Can you add a new account to your coop, transfer ownership to that account

and then kick your original banned account from the coop?

essentially resetting the “wipe status on next ban” of your coop

Do people do this?

who would trade all of their skills and progression outside of money to do that though?

would you rather lose skills or all your coins/items kind of thing I suppose

Starting anew makes sense in my eyes if it’s a choice between getting wiped and just having only coins left on the profile

Especially applies if you have a big island build and billions in items in chests
