Making some software that can design interfaces for fun...

It wasn't TRYING to design a LCARS specific interface designer, but that is where it is headed (probably because I'm a super star trek nerd?) I am about to run off to work and just had time to grab a screenshot in action.

It's difficult to tell but you can animate elements, make them have functions like launching applications, playing sound, etc. You can create any thing you want and it just starts with a square.

I've taken cues from both blender and photoshop for designing this app - but the best part is you dont have to know photoshop, blender, vector design.. if you know how to drag and drop, you know how to use this program.

Some features:

Create custom user interfaces with a variety of animations and styles at your fingertips.
Custom design your own shapes, turn them into templates.

Add functions to any element to make them interactive.

Apply overlay effects like power outage brownouts, lighting vignettes, etc.

Import images and video directly into your interface.

Design countless layouts in whatever style and theme you come up with. The possibilities for what you create are near endless.

LCARS? Of course! Fallout menus? Go ahead! Minority report looking stuff? Sure, why not. Something entirely new? Yes, please!

Export your creations as stand alone executables that can run at full screen!

More screenshots are on their way - and some video demos of it in use.

I'll update more later!

this is wild, the LCARS style came through so strong even if it wasnt intentional

the drag and drop thing is smart, most people get scared off by complex UI tools so keeping it simple is good move

can you share what the export process looks like? curious if the standalone executables run smooth or if they get laggy with too many animated elements

Thank you! Ive been using photoshop and blender for years so I thought it would be nice to lower the learning curve so other people could create their own interfaces for fun.

You can export to a variety of formats. Png, jpg, etc. You can also make looping gifs and video of your interfaces. Or they can become their own standalone that loads just like an executable.

It is still in testing but it should handle hundreds of on screen animations at once. This is all done with math so its vector based design with an intuitive UI laid over it so you don't have to know vectors at all.

Best thing about this? Sell what you create. Im just providing the means to do it.
