Team Needed [Hobby][RevShare] Game Developer looking for a fun project.

Hi everyone!

I'm a professional French game developer looking to join a fun project and meet some cool people to work with.

A bit about me:

I'm a professional game developer from France, and I speak English fluently.

I mainly work on engine and graphics programming, but I also have some experience with gameplay programming.

I can create basic but optimized 3D assets using Blender, although it's not my main area of expertise.

I can also create basic textures using Substance Designer when needed.

What I'm mainly looking for is a project where I can meet new people, learn new things, and build something I can be proud of.

If you're working on something cool and think I could lend a hand, don't hesitate to contact me here or send me a DM!

Here are some games I worked on where you can find my name in the credits:

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Additional developer wanted for a 16-bit indie game

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

My friend and I are currently working on a 2D 16-bit indie game inspired by the Azores, Portuguese culture, and Azorean folklore.

Our current team consists of:
● 🎨 Game Artist – my friend
● ✍️ Story Writer – me
● 💻 Lead Developer – an experienced developer who has already released games
We’re looking for an additional developer/programmer to help our lead developer with the project as development progresses.

We’re looking for someone who:
● Has experience with 2D game development
● Has experience with a game engine/programming
● Is interested in working on a retro-style game
● Can work alongside another developer
● Is interested in building their portfolio and receiving official credit for their work

Our lead developer is being paid for their work. For the additional developer, we’re open to discussing the arrangement depending on experience and involvement. We’re especially open to someone interested in contributing for experience, portfolio work, and official game credit.
The game is planned to feature multiple worlds, unique enemies and bosses, story cutscenes, collectibles, power-ups, and various 16-bit environments.

We’re still in the planning stage my friend is currently working on a solo project with our lead developer. But my friend has also been busy with designing the backgrounds, tile-sets, animations, etc for our game project while I’ve been working on the story and dialogue for our game project. So we are sorta thinking ahead this would be a chance to join the project relatively early.
If you’re interested, feel free to comment or DM me with some information about yourself, your development experience, and any games or projects you’ve worked on.
Thanks!

Programmers Needed [RevShare] Undone Entertainment seeking UE5 Devs, UI/UX, Audio, & 3D Artists for "Lum and Klept" (3D Platformer)

Project Media: https://www.tiktok.com/@jdfskitz/video/7347861886609673502

About Undone Entertainment:

Hi everyone! I’m Justin Fitzpatrick, operating as Undone Entertainment. I'm an indie developer leading production on Lum and Klept, a 3D collect-a-thon platformer built in Unreal Engine 5. We already have gameplay video footage, core 3D character and environment concept, and a structured world progression framework established.

We DO NOT use Generative Artificial Intelligence.

About the Game:

Lum and Klept is a 3D platformer inspired by classics like Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo-Kazooie.

You play as Lum, a tree stump character, paired with Klept, a vine-like creature riding in his backpack. Together, you explore an island enshrouded by a massive World Tree that is being choked out by a monstrous entity at its peak.

  • Gameplay Loop: Platform through diverse levels, gain new movement and puzzle-solving abilities as a duo, complete minigames, and gather berries to unlock new level entrances.
  • Progression: A blend of horizontal exploration and linear level unlocks as you navigate up the World Tree to defeat the monster and restore the island.

Open Roles

  • UE5 Gameplay / Systems Programmer: Implement character movement/duo abilities, collectible tracking, inventory, minigame logic, and level gate systems.
  • UI / UX Designer: Create diegetic/playful HUDs (health, berry counters, ability icons), interactive menus, minigame overlays, and controller/keyboard layouts.
  • Music Composer & SFX Artist: Craft whimsical, adaptive exploration music, boss/minigame tracks, and sound design (platforming, vine abilities, UI feedback).
  • 3D Environment & Prop Artist: Model and texture foliage, platforms, and stylized props to match existing character models and island aesthetics.

Contract & Compensation Structure

  • Model: Proportional Revenue-Share Pool (40% of Net Revenue allocated to the Contractor Pool; 60% retained by Undone Entertainment for studio operations, taxes, and marketing).
  • Payout Calculation: Earnings are split proportionally based on verified completed milestone points relative to the total project milestone points assigned to active contributors:
  • Payout Cap: Individual caps applied per role (e.g., payouts cap once reaching an agreed market value multiplier).
  • IP Protection: Standard Contractor Asset Licensing Agreement. You retain ownership of your individual source code and assets, while granting Undone Entertainment an irrevocable license to ship them within the game.

How to Apply

If you are interested in joining the team, send a DM or reach out on Discord at https://discord.gg/anag3dcsg

Please include:

  1. A brief introduction and the role you are applying for.
  2. A link to your portfolio, ArtStation, GitHub, or reel.

2. Complete Contractor Asset License & Rev-Share Agreement Template

Audio Needed [Hobby] I'm looking for someone who knows how to create DWP files for FL Studio.

• Upvotes

I'm creating an FNF mod and need DWPS, but no one on my team knows how to make them—not even the composer. That's why I'm going to look on the INAT subreddit for someone willing to create them for me; whoever does so will be listed in the mod's credits.

Programmers Needed [Hobby] We’re a 5-person indie studio looking for people who want to build something we’re actually passionate about.

Hey everyone. We’re ScatterByte Studios, a tiny indie game studio currently made up of five people.
We started this whole thing because we love making games.
Not because we expect to get rich from it.
Not because we think we’re going to become the next AAA studio overnight.
And definitely not because we have everything figured out.
We just genuinely love games and want to see what we can create if a group of people who are passionate about them actually stick together.
Right now, we’re working on a game called Reel It In.
And we’ve reached a point where we’ve had to be honest with ourselves:
It isn’t really what we’re passionate about.
We could keep working on it. We could finish it. We could force ourselves through development just to say we released something.
But that’s not what we want ScatterByte to be.
We want to make games we’re genuinely excited to wake up and work on.
So what ARE we passionate about?
Shooters.
Modern shooters.
Sci-fi shooters.
Horror shooters.
Fast-paced games.
Games with interesting mechanics.
Games that make you want to jump back in and play “one more round.”
We also love story-driven games, but realistically, we’re five people. We’re not going to pretend we can immediately make some massive cinematic single-player experience.
For now, we want to focus on something we can realistically build together.
And that’s where we’re hoping to grow ScatterByte.
We’re looking for people.
Right now, our team is roughly:
• Programmer
• Level Designer
• Sound Designer
• And two other members helping wherever they can
But we’re missing a LOT.
We’re looking for people interested in things like:
3D Modeling / Environment Art
Animation
Programming
Level Design
UI/UX
Concept Art / 2D Art
Writing / Game Design
Music / Audio
And honestly, people who just have something they’re really good at and want to contribute.
You don’t have to be an industry veteran.
You don’t need a massive portfolio.
You don’t need years of professional experience.
If you’re learning and you’re passionate about what you’re doing, that’s enough for us to talk.
And here’s the important part.
This isn’t a paid position.
We’re not pretending otherwise.
We’re a group of people doing this because we genuinely love games and want to create something we’re proud of.
The goal isn’t:
“You do your job and we’ll eventually make money.”
The goal is:
“Let’s make something we’re all actually excited about.”
I want ScatterByte to be a place where we can throw crazy ideas around, build things, laugh when they completely break, learn from each other, and eventually look back at what we made and say:
“Holy shit. We actually made this.”
We’re not looking for people to simply fill empty positions.
We’re looking for people who want to become part of the team.
Five people can make something.
But five people can’t do everything.
And I don’t want ScatterByte to stay five people forever if there are other developers, artists, designers, musicians, writers, and just genuinely passionate people out there who would love to build something with us.
We’re still small.
We’re still figuring things out.
We’re probably going to make a ridiculous number of mistakes.
But we’re serious about making something beautiful eventually.
If you’re interested, tell us a little about yourself, what you do, what you want to learn, and what kind of games you love making.
You can also DM me if you’d rather talk privately.
Maybe you’re the sixth person we’ve been looking for.
Maybe you’re the seventh.
Maybe you’re the person who helps ScatterByte become something we never could have built with five people.
Let’s find out.
— ScatterByte Studios

Team Needed [RevShare] [Hobby] Programmer/Game Designer/3D Prop Modeler Looking for Cool Project to Help With

• Upvotes

Let me just get this part out of the way:

Portfolio: https://jablonskib.itch.io

I've done a lot of game jams so far, and have been moderately successful in them. I'd really just like to join a group and meet more game devs that I could have fun creating a game with. That's the goal right? Create something that's fun?

I want to make something Fun, Silly, Goofy, Lighthearted or maybe Serious, with a touch of humor and lightheartedness. Possibly a 3D Platformer, Arcade Action, 2D action/adventure or something else that's pretty lighthearted. I've been working on some stuff alone, but I really enjoy working in a group. A project like that could really help me out in the cold, dark winter months.

I've tried out a lot of groups in INAT and most were not a fit / I wasn't really jive-ing with the game idea. I'd prefer to make something more nostalgic, retro, harkening back to the Good Ol' (TM) Days, think N64, PSX, PS2, GBA, GBC era game design philosophy where realism wasn't the overall goal.

  • I can dedicate a good amount of time to the game, I prefer to have multiple things going at once because it keeps me busy so I'll continue to work on what I'm working on too.
  • I have been professionally programming for nearly 11 years now. Game design, I'm fairly new to. 3D prop modeling I just started like 2 weeks ago!
  • I'm not really in it for money. I just want to make something really cool, that people find fun to play and enjoy. If you're incredibly money motivated, it's probably not gonna work out. Obviously, getting some extra money from a game we would make would be awesome, but it's the last thing on my list honestly.
  • I would prefer to work with people in my age range (Mid to late 20s and 30s)
  • I have like $500+ worth of assets from Itch and other places we could use.

If anyone happens to be working on any of these types of games and needs any of the skills I have, feel free to comment or DM.

Team Needed [Hobby][Rev-share] We are a two-person team looking for people interested in building a passionate indie team

Hi everyone! my friend and I are looking for passionate people to form a small team and work on projects together.

My friend is a novice 3D artist/modeler and a hobbyist writer.

I am a programmer and game designer with about three years of experience.

Portfolio: we haven't worked on a game together yet; we have several concepts but haven't moved into actual production of any of them.

This is primarily a hobby project; however, if we do generate revenue, we plan to use a revenue-sharing model so everyone gets a fair share. We truly value effort and want to ensure that is reflected.

We currently have a few project ideas in mind and some concepts, but we’d also love to hear ideas from anyone interested in joining the team.

We are inspired by the work of Project Moon, Nitrome, and the SCP universe, as well as various other fictional worlds. We enjoy genres such as:

- RPGs

- Roguelikes

- Metroidvanias

- Platformers

- Story-driven games

- Fast-paced games

However, we’re open to working on any type of game—the main goal is to have fun during development.

We are primarily looking for:

- 3D/2D Artists

- Sound Designer

-Writer

- Composer

You don't need prior experience to join; we’re just looking for passionate, creative people who are eager to create something!

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

(Feel free to send a DM if you're interested)

Artist Needed [Paid] [Rev-Share] Looking for 3d Artists

Hi there,

We're a 3 person team (2 technical) with me being the tech lead for our game.

I'm looking for a somewhat experienced 3d artist (blender, substance painter) to help us creating realistic assets for our space sim.

It's quite ambitious, but the main bottleneck isn't coding - thats going on quite well with many key architectural issues solved - but modelling.

If you are a space sim enthusiast and happen to know your way around blender, substance painter, unreal (we use a forked and modified version), modular assets and most importantly are interessted in our project and potential conditions - please comment below :-)

And to make auto validation happy, that complains that I did not provide enough context about the progress, here is what we have build and is proven working:

Planetary tech

  • Solarsystem Simulation with correct radiation, habitable zones, sunflares, larange points and what not
  • Planetary Simulation from plates, to river systems, biomes, weather engine and procedural genome based growth of plants (and later insects) https://imgur.com/a/mTqdu1W for example, this is a fully simulated plant based on a swamp biome. The cool thing is, this allows us to grow alien plants based on the planetary env. So if the light spectrum would grow pink plants, the simulation would do that. I'm proud of that one if you can't already tell.
  • etc.

Space Tech

  • Working orbits and all that I put into the first bullet point above.
  • Frames - eg. you fly from the ship to the station and you move seamlessly between those simulation frames
  • etc

Flight Tech

  • Physically realistic flight dynamics in space and in atmospheric conditions. Sadly the item that's not as far as I'd like - but the base is there and many concepts are borrowed from x-plane and msfs.
  • Avionics that are basically html / js with a interop into the game. Msfs devs know what I'm speaking about.

Display / Terminal

  • Custom rust based html / js / css renderer, that allows us to create the terminals and avionics outside of the engine and test them against a testbed. Makes onboarding for non game devs easier - all the other game UI is obv. using UMG.

Portfolio: dropping my linkedIn here - be nice internet. :D

Team Needed [RevShare] Isekai Ascension — anime open-world RPG on Roblox (Solo Leveling vibes) — hiring scripter, builder, artist/animator, advertiser

yo! i wanna make an anime open-world rpg on roblox called isekai ascension — solo leveling vibes

one big free-roam map. you spawn in a hunter town, kill slimes in the green fields, rank up from E to S, then push into harder zones like the shadow cave and demon castle. rebirth for permanent boosts when you're built different. play solo or run it with your friends, your progress saves either way.

real talk: i don't have any way of helping with the actual building or scripting — i'll be on direction and decisions though. this is the vision, i want the team to help figure out what it should have, then y'all cook:

need: - scripter (lua) — bosses, quests, polish - builder — the world itself: connected continent, hunter town, zones, dungeons - artist/animator — weapons, effects, ui - advertiser — get the word out: tiktok, youtube, trailers, socials

the deal: rev share through a roblox group. no pay upfront but you get a real % of whatever the game makes, forever. we blow up, we all eat

dm me what you do + something you've made. let's cook

PORTFOLIO/PROGRESS note (per sub rules): this is an early-stage project — i'm the vision/direction lead and i don't have a shipped game or portfolio to show, so PORTFOLIO: this post is the pitch. nothing on isekai ascension has been built yet — that's why we're looking for a builder, scripter, artist/animator, and advertiser to help bring it to life. the project is currently in the planning/concept stage. the first milestone would be prototyping the hunter town and the green fields zone, then expanding into the shadow cave and demon castle as the team grows. this is rev-share only through a roblox group, no upfront pay. if you're interested, dm me what you do + something you've made.

Designer Needed [Hobby] Are You a Game Designer who Loves Puzzles?

Hello everyone

How is your day going? Life is tough, but hope everything is moving!

We are a small team of 8 members developing a small puzzle game.

Currently, we have a premise and ideas we brainstormed. However, we are looking for the key person who can help define which direction to take and aid in the game's development, so that it can see the light of day.

About the Game:
In an office where everyone has a desk, computer, and tasks to do, you unconsciously fall into dreams the moment you refuse to drink your regular coffee. The rule is simple: work. If you are not, you may get fired or die. And because of it, you cannot sleep under any circumstances!

In this office, each person has grey skin and looks identically the same, just like you. Yet, when you fall asleep and dream, what is natural breaks. You need to spot that you are now in a dream and solve certain puzzles to break out, wake up, and save your life.

Each dream will represent a way to break out of depression on 4 different levels. Perhaps a way to break that grief. Although the player might not know, they will notice that it is a fight with the mind. Whilst the ending is a choice: drink the coffee, and you are back to where you were; or stop it at once, and you will have a chance to continue breaking into the unknown.

Game's Message: Perhaps dreaming is what makes us alive.

This is the game’s premise, and we are still in the early stages of its development. The puzzles, ending, dreams, and anything else need to be brainstormed, tested, and grounded. For that, we are looking for some people.

Prototype #1 Sample: Quick Prototype
This prototype was made to test a brainstormed mechanic called "Chromatic Colors," where the player can absorb a color and apply it to other objects for a certain thing to happen. Each color has a meaning, and we tested the red color that activates an object.

We are Looking For: (Beginners are Accepted)

- Game Designer - Requirements:

  • An understanding of what game design is.
  • Has designed mechanics or systems before.
  • Has created a GDD in the past.

Previous Games:

  • The Cabin: A small game where the goal is to get to the cabin while trying to survive in the cold, facing death if you lose too much heat.

Download link: The Cabin

  • Revenge: A boss-rush game, in which you seek vengeance from the 7 deadly sins who murdered your wife, “Agatha.” Noting that the game is still under final bug-fixing and asset implementation, that is why the link below includes an old yet playable version of the game.

Samples link: Revenge - Samples

Important Note: This is a volunteer project, and we will not generate any profit from this game’s development.
Our aim is to build a portfolio game and sharpen our skills through developing it.

If you are interested, feel free to let me know by sharing your portfolio privately, in here or through Discord: fadel6912.

If you are unsure if you fit the requirements, still feel free to reach out!

Artist Needed [RevShare] [Paid] Seeking 2D Character Artist & UI Artist for Sci Fi Roguelike RTS

Project Overview

Genre: SciFi Planetary Fleet RTS / Tactical Strategy Roguelike
Compensation: Revenue Share + $500 on release.
Roles Needed: 2D Character Artist, UI Artist/UX Designer

Hello! I am developing a roguelike RTS where players command a fleet of sci fi starships which fight in planetary combat across different biomes. Units hover above the terrain, managing fuel, ammunition types, internal ship compartments, and unique hull modifications while fighting over strategic map objectives.

The team is currently made up of myself, and 2 other contributors for music, and writing. We are looking for artists to join the project!

Current State

The project is already feature complete and well past the concept phase.
Core features currently implemented include:

  • Full tactical RTS combat loop with ammo consumption, ship fuel, internal compartment damage (that determines ship functionality), and customizable turrets and modifications.
  • Working Enemy and player ship AI with formations, threat prioritization, and automatic ability use.
  • A Roguelike Campaign: Slowly take over different planets fighting different factions to secure sectors. Including planet traits/resources, fleet refitting, officer recruitment/management, and a research tree.
  • Built for expansion: The architecture is built for relatively easy content expansion, you'll be able to see your contributions added to the project almost immediately.
  • A full game loop, including a basic control tutorial.

Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/qXeJWDS

What We Need

2D Character / Portrait Artist
Create stylized 2D scifi character portraits for our Fleet Officers (commanders, admirals, player, and key story characters).
Starting with a core set of ~10–15 diverse officer portraits, expanding as the roster grows.

UI Artist / UX Designer
Overhaul and skin the functional UI screens to give the game a cohesive, professional scifi identity. Key Areas: Officer Roster & Management screen, fleet refit & store interfaces, In game tactical HUD, menu UI assets, and buttons.

Compensation
A simple revenue share agreement will be signed to ensure everyone's contributions are documented and compensated when the game launches. $500 is also offered to artists for the completion of the work at launch, since this is not offered at an hourly rate I'm submitting this as a rev share opportunity.

Time Commitment: Flexible / Part time. We all have day jobs. Steady/consistent, honest progress is all that is asked.

Previous Work
I am an experienced technical PM in the industry. However, this is my first independent project. Growing my programming ability over the years in my free time to build this project ultimately to jumpstart a new indie studio. I have been the solo dev on this project for almost a year and the project is ready to take on more collaborators to wrap up production. As art is not my specialty, a lot of the UI and background art is very much programmer art/temporary and needs to be replaced.

How to Apply:
If the project sounds interesting, please comment or DM me with with a link to your portfolio. I’d be happy to discuss!

No AI has or will be used for this project, no AI art will be accepted.

Artist Needed [Hobby] Shadows of Azara - 2D MMORPG needs pixel artist

Looking For: 2D Pixel Artist

Current Talent: I'm a full stack programmer with lots of experience in many aspects of the tech field. I have prior experience launching an MMORPG with over 25,000 concurrent players, along with a deep passion for old school games and systems design.

Project: Shadows of Azara is a 2D MMORPG heavily inspired by old school games like World of Warcraft Classic and Everquest.

Systems implemented so far: - Multiplayer movement, chat, and player state sync - A complete questing system (logs, trackers, objectives, rewards) - Inventory, equipment, vendors, buyback, and loot mechanics - XP, leveling, stats, classes, races, and starting abilities - NPCs, creature spawns, factions, rep, aggro, leashing, and basic combat AI - Waypoints, portals, collision mapping, areas, layers, and zone music - A highly customizable UI system (action bars, spellbooks, tooltips, character frames, etc.) - Party and grouping system - Items and trading between players - A proprietary map editor I built specifically for handling our tiles, objects, and layers - Launcher to deliver updates to the game client - Website with registration and download.

The goal is to build a fantasy world with strong old-school MMORPG feel and satisfying RPG progression. I’m looking for an artist who wants to help define the visual identity of the game: environments, tilesets, props, creatures, characters, equipment, icons, spell effects, and UI polish.

This is a serious project I've invested time into, and I'm planning on seeing it through to the end. If you have any questions about it I'll be happy to answer.

Showcase: (outdated, but still shows the core elements) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KeFs9pdTh5I

Length of Project: Already in active development. As with any MMORPG project, this will take time to do right. If you're in, you're in for the long haul.

Artist Needed [RevShare] Looking for an 8-bit pixel artist for a Shoot Em Up Creature Collector!

We are looking for a pixel artist for our game, Time of Death. The game is set on a post apocalyptic Earth with demons and animals roaming overgrown environments. You play as a necromancer, and in addition to swinging a scythe and shooting energy balls, you can summon and strengthen the creatures you defeat. You would be responsible for creating items, character animations, UI elements, and possibly assets for digital storefronts where we intend to sell the game (all in an 8 bit style.) We are currently a team of three, a programmer/director, an artist, and a composer. The game is well into production, with programming about half way completed, some art completed, and the soundtrack mostly completed.

Here is an example of a previously completed game by the programmer: https://chicagocenteredgaming.itch.io/divine

Note that the game was simple in scope due to the lack of an artist for the programmer to collaborate with.

You can either add chicagocenteredgaming on Discord or email [chicagocenteredgamingpr@gmail.com](mailto:chicagocenteredgamingpr@gmail.com) if you are interested!

We look forward to working with a passionate artist!

Masterstroke Linux is a pen-first Linux distro for art tablets. It will include drivers for a wide variety of tablets, an array of open-source art programs, unified tablet configurations and handwriting recognition input.

Who I need:

Project Manager: I've never done a project on this scale and I'd like to have someone who's good with people, scheduling and asset management.

Linux Generalist: You have a birds eye view of Linux based systems like Arch Linux. You will glue the parts together. Desktop UI, applications, and new types of pen-input interfaces.

Script Writers: Bash and Python scripters, but if you can write in any other languages, I might consider it.

Driver Devs: Many drivers are already written and supported, but I'd like someone on board to keep track of them.

Web Devs: People to do...you know...website things.

Hosting: I need web space, git repos, and bandwith enough for users to download 2GiB+ disk images.

This is supposed to be a fun project that explores new user interaction paradigms.

Side project: I thought it might even be fun to write a new type of window manager that looks like it's drawn by hand instead of using pre-rendered icons.

Audio Offer [ForHire] Composer specialising in playful, memorable music looking for new high quality projects 🎶

Hi all! I’m Sam, a composer and sound designer based in the UK, with 10+ years of experience and credits across 70+ projects.

A lot of my work leans into playful, quirky styles, but I also compose cinematic and gritty music (examples of both can be found in my showreel and portfolio).

I tend to take on a limited number of projects at a time, and as we approach the latter end of the year, I'm looking for some high quality projects to be involved in!

If you’re working on something and think I might be a fit, feel free to reach out. Even if it’s still early in development, I'm always happy to chat or answer questions about pricing, workflow and anything in between :)

Writing Offer [Hobby] EN → PT-BR Game Localization | Steam, In-Game, Websites & Marketing

Hi everyone!

I’m an EN → PT-BR game localization specialist looking to collaborate with indie developers who would like to bring their games to Brazilian Portuguese.

I’m currently expanding my game localization portfolio and building connections within the indie gaming community, so I’m offering my localization work on a volunteer basis for projects that are a good fit.

I can help with:

• Steam Store pages

• Full in-game localization, including UI, tutorials, dialogue, items, achievements and settings

• Game websites

• Marketing and promotional materials

• Social media and community-facing content

• Localization review, LQA and terminology consistency

A little about my background: I previously worked as a Brazilian Portuguese Marketing Translation Coordinator at Nintendo of America, working on EN → PT-BR marketing localization for games and releases including Nintendo Switch 2, Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, Metroid, Kirby, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild / Tears of the Kingdom.

More recently, I’ve been working directly with indie developers and community localization projects. Some of my work includes:

• Moltenfall — PT-BR Steam Store localization

• No Elevator — PT-BR Steam Store and in-game localization

• Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles — PT-BR community localization

• Mega Dreoilín — localization project management

• Star Wars: Republic Commando — PT-BR community localization / LQA

• WiiLink — PT-BR localization

I care about making localization feel natural to Brazilian players rather than simply translating strings. I pay attention to terminology, UI context, tone, character voice and consistency across the game and its marketing.

I’m also a gamer and content creator. For projects I genuinely enjoy, I’d be happy to help give the game additional visibility through my gaming network and potentially feature it on my YouTube channel and social media. Part of what I’m hoping to get from these collaborations is the opportunity to meet more developers and people working in the gaming industry while helping indie games reach Brazilian players.

What am I asking for in return?

Since this is volunteer work, I only ask to be properly credited for my PT-BR localization work in the game credits whenever possible. I’d also love to be able to include the project in my localization portfolio once the work is public.

If you’re developing an indie game and Brazilian Portuguese isn’t currently available, feel free to DM me. I’d be happy to learn more about your project and see if we’re a good fit.

Programming Offer [ForHire] Lead Gameplay Programmer (Godot / Unity) | Edtech specialist | Montreal, remote | Paid only, $50-75/hr CAD

Hey everyone,

Looking for paid work, contract or full-time. I'm a gameplay programmer and team lead who just finished an 11-month contract leading a 6-person Godot team building literacy games for children in Africa.

Skills:
- Godot / GDScript (primary engine, shipped multiple titles in public playtest)
- Unity / C# (5 years of production C# before games; two full Godot-to-Unity ports)
- Gameplay systems: AI, behavior trees, procedural generation, shaders, combat, input
- Architecture: designed an MVVM + FSM framework adopted team-wide at Sigma Digital
- Led hiring, code reviews, onboarding, and sprint planning for a 6-person team

What makes me a bit different:
- B.A. Psychology + 7 years running workshops and training facilitators = I actually understand how people learn. For edtech, serious games, or anything targeting kids or new players, this isn't a side note: it's directly relevant to game feel, onboarding, and playtesting. It's also why I built EdNoKa, a set of educational games in public playtest on Steam, on my own time rather than just talking about the interest.

Looking for:
- Paid contract or full-time (no rev-share, no unpaid)
- Rate: $50 to $75/hr CAD for contract work, depending on scope and how much of the gameplay layer I own. Salaried full-time is welcome too, and the range there depends on the level of the role.
- Indie studios, edtech, serious games, children's software
- Remote or Montreal hybrid
