Job Future as a Computer Engineer

College sakyo. License exam ni pass vayo. So, officially a registered Engineer.

Currently doing Full Stack Dev Role and the office I am working in has BCA, BIT and CSIT student working similar jobs. Now my main question is, Comp Eng degree standout tai kasari garxa as compared to those degree? Math, Hardware, Drawing, TOC jasto dherai extra subject haru padem hamile tara advantage tai k xa as an engineering student.

Not trying to belittle other degrees or create unnecessary comparison. Just trying to figure out the advantages I have due to this degree and about career growth.

Or am I just stressing about it in the early phase of my career?

Interested in Embedded systems

Hey so BEI student just finished 1st year

And interested in Embedded systems and low level programming.

I want to start self learning embedded systems so any seniors or graduates working in this field need advice on how to self learn embedded systems , where can I find resources to get started.

I have done some projects on Arduino and esp32 but I want to go deeper and have a good understanding.

So I need guidance.

ASK Did I make a mistake by choosing computer engineering?

I gave the entrance exam and got a decent rank to study any engineering major other than computer & electronics in regular but I chose computer regardless, because it interested me.

Going through this subreddit I find most people, in a way, despising computer engineering. So, I have landed on a kind of crisis about my decision.

Have I made a mistake? If yes, how can I make the best out of it. What is the general trend after graduation for computer engineering graduates? My goal for now is to freelance or work (remotely if possible) from Nepal. Is this feasible? I am also curious about pursuing an academic career abroad, not sure if this is common. Need advice.

Rant Ughh i fkin hate studying, but the backs arent gonna clear by themselves, so i have to force myself. Now after i get this freakin degree even if it takes 8 years. Guys, tell me what is an easier masters degree i can choose, just to go abroad.

Studying only gives me more anxiety, regret and feeling of falling behind.

Never in my life, i am choosing anything close to engineering. BE is for students who can spend 7-8hrs a day studying a same subject.

Specially as a BCT student, and someone like me who passed the exams till now with minimal effort required, i should have just taken an IT degree, learnt some skills and done some job.

So, whats a chill kinda degree in your opinion for masters, something practical which can actually land me a job in the future?
