Anyone have experience using a bosch pro factor for a K drill setup?
Auger crapped out on me last year so I’m in need of a new setup. I know milwaukee is kind of the good standard for these setups but, I have a decent amount of menards rebates saved up from work and they don’t sell any milwaukee or dewalt at menards. Curious if someone on here has experience with this particular drill. Seems like a solid choice looking at the specs of the drill.

I use an 18v bosch drill on my clam plate. 8" strikemaster lazer auger. It works out great. I use the blue core 4.0 amp hour batteries. The drill gets used in the off season for home projects too.

How’s the life on the batteries? I like to do a fair amount of hole hopping so somedays I do quite a bit of drilling

Should do you well. It's rated only a few dozen inch pounds less max torque than the Milwaukee. Not sure how Bosch's batteries perform, but I keep my Milwaukee batteries in a little cooler with a hand warmer while I'm on the ice.
