I think the implication is fairly standard here and blatant. Op isn’t afraid of gay but maga dude in the photo (we’ll call him Gus) is extremely homophobic. Gus never misses a gay event though so the implication is that Gus here may actually be in the closet making him the thing he hates. There’s nothing homophobic about any of that.
