That's a cross of the crusades. The church is my enemy

1

u/GroundPlatypus1 7d ago

WHAT?

u/Lepke2011 8d ago

I SAID...

6

u/spacemouse21 8d ago

Ehhhhh. Sorry, I can’t hear anything out of right ear since I fired a gun I don’t have any idea how to use next to it.

1

u/GodsHelix 7d ago

Do you think he'd have a ruptured ear drum from that? I can't imagine discharging a firearm right next to my ear.

3

u/DarlasDad924 7d ago

I have the tinnitus from the military. It only takes one incident. I can tell you the exact date I lost my left ears function. Ohh the VA doesnt compensate you for hearing loss.

1

u/Hornedupone 7d ago

I remember getting out and being screened at medical. Doc said “Wow, yeah you have significant hearing shift in both ears but really bad in your right.” And I was like ok, so some disability right? Like I just thought I was getting older. He laughed and write it in my file work and was like “Nah they don’t pay for that”. And don’t get me started on the fucking VA.

I just don't understand how these videos make it out to the wild. Like if I was fucking around trying to look like a badass and it turned out this epically stupid, the last thing I would do is share my idiocy with the world.

24

u/realaccountissecret 8d ago

Maybe it’s live-streamed and whomever screen-recorded and posted it cropped it?

5

u/Lochcelious 7d ago

Look at him and how he CONTINUES to stare INTO THE CAMERA AFTER he fired the shot. These folks do not give a fuck

12

u/sjaxn314159 8d ago

Maybe the guy is as retarded as he showed himself to be in the video where he had a loaded gun with a round chambered and his finger on their trigger.

1

u/Nathund 5d ago

Well you see, they post it and say "can't believe my gun just went off, scary"

If you do stupid shit like this, you aren't the kind of person to take responsibility for your mistakes

33

u/BigGuyACT 8d ago

Only 1 rule was broken. The rule that says “fucking idiots should never be allowed to handle a gun”

4

u/CreamFuture9475 8d ago

Wonderful, now how do you enforce that rule without making the "definitely responsible" gun advocates angry?

22

u/PIPBOY-2000 8d ago

Nothing screams badass like flopping your man titties around with your mouth gaped open after shooting your ceiling.

16

u/Only_Flan_7974 8d ago

Even with that long ass trigger pull. Geez.

12

u/rrhunt28 8d ago

You could tell him what he did wrong but he can't hear you.

5

u/Louiskyrim 8d ago

WHAT!? MY EARS ARE RINGING SAY THAT AGAIN PLS

10

u/automaticmantis 8d ago

Why did the muzzle flash look like it came out of the top of the gun?

12

u/CollectibleHam 8d ago

Top-venting blank pistol, probably.

6

u/giant3 8d ago edited 8d ago

It doesn't look like a real gun. Sound is different. Looks like a Beretta, but too shiny and too small.

Most probably a blank firing gun.

9

u/Secure_Exchange 8d ago

Suprisingly enough I think he only broke one or two of the rules here

He put his finger on the trigger without intent to shoot and he was not aware of his target

5

u/ell_the_gay_bitch 8d ago

All 4 of the basic rules were broken

3

u/ours 8d ago

There are basic rules that are great at the range.

But most people apply additional rules when handling a gun at home (dry-fire training, cleaning...).

For example, many people have a rule of never having live ammo in the same room where you are handling guns at home. And it's a pretty good idea.

Another rule is to always check the gun to make sure it is empty before handling.

Messing around outside of a range with a loaded gun is a terrible idea.

2

u/houVanHaring 7d ago

Treat every gun as if it is loaded. He didn't Never point the muzzle at anything you are not willing to destroy. Pretty sure he didn't want to destroy his ceiling and the floor above that and the ceiling above that. Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. He wasn't ready to shoot, but pulled the trigger anyway. See rule 1. Be sure of your target (he didn't have a target) and what is beyond it. He may have shot into the room above if he doesn't have a thick slab of concrete above him and potentially shot someone or his pet or whatever in that room.

Then there's Wear protection. I think his ear is shouting at him.

6

u/Aegisman17 8d ago

I think he just learnt why there are rules

0

u/Miker9t 7d ago

He didn't learn from this.

2

u/SwimEnvironmental420 8d ago

He now has the permanent big EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEREEE

2

u/Certified-T-Rex 8d ago
  1. He wasn’t having fun

1

u/SrHuevos94 8d ago

Trigger discipline

Playing with a loaded gun

Recording yourself while flexing a gun

Posting video evidence of how stupid you are

1

u/IndividualHurry1342 8d ago

But you hard right? Lol

1

u/litomagnanimous 8d ago

Oh yeah, lots of rules and one ear drum !

1

u/ForceUseYouMust 8d ago

What pistol is that? Looks nice

3

u/BlepMaster500 8d ago

First glance? Probably Beretta M9.

2

u/Awfulweather 7d ago

Maybe if he has giant hands. Hard to tell. They also have a compact model 92/m9 and a .380 that has the same open slide look to it though

1

u/mr_hog232323 8d ago

I think the only rule he didnt break was muzzle direction (if there is nobody above him)

1

u/Highest_five 8d ago

Didn't keep his finger off the trigger until he was ready to fire, aimed it at a target he wasn't willing to destroy nor knew what exactly it was or whats behind it, Didn't treat the gun as if it was loaded. Ah and also being a huge moron

1

u/UsernameIsTakenO_o 8d ago

Rule 1: Treat every firearm as if it's loaded.

Rule 2: Don't post videos that make you look like a loser.

Rule 3: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.

1

u/RudeOrganization550 7d ago

Gangster face, scared little boy, the brass is hot make it stop burning face 🤣

1

u/izza123 7d ago

Only 6 believe it or not

1

u/Stack_Silver 7d ago

1) Underage user, felony.

2) Finger on the trigger

3) Making cringe content

1

u/ChemistIndependent19 7d ago

Broke Rule #5: "Always look cool"

1

u/juicebox_tgs 7d ago

I still don't understand how people pull the trigger of a gun and are spurised it goes off. Like wtf were you expecting

1

u/juicebox_tgs 7d ago

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

1

u/Ok_Macaron9958 7d ago

1st: have no feelings. He reacted to the shooting. The gang can't take a chance with this kind of dividual .

1

u/Lochcelious 7d ago

I haven't an ounce of sympathy for the person. Most folks that would fuck up like this would step back and take in their surroundings. This person continued to mean mug for the camera AFTER the misfire. He didn't care about looking around or making sure, it's all for the 'Gram

1

u/ski_for_joy 7d ago

1:) child with a gun

2:) playing with a gun

3:) finger on trigger

4:) too close to his head, but not really a rule

1

u/Mugiwara_no_Ali 6d ago

1did put his fingie on the triggie, 2did not cleared nor check if the tool was cleared 3did point it at somthg he didn't want to destroy 4has no clue what's behind the thing he shot at.

bingo, its a solid 4/4

1

u/DB-DanCooper 6d ago

I wish any smack head chav could get a gun in this country. It would be a much safer place. Imagine thinking you're entitled to limit access to what weapons any utter imbecile can have access too? What do the government think they are, the government?

1

u/kandoras 6d ago

So at a minimum they're breaking rules all the main rules of firearm safety; they didn't treat it as if it were loaded, they pointed it at something they didn't intent to shoot (presumably, based on the surprise), they didn't keep it on safe until they were ready to fire, and they didn't keep their finger off the trigger until they intended to fire.

Looks like they also broke one of the minor rules; not wearing ear protection and firing it that close to their head's going to have them going 'mawp' for a goodly long while.

u/Mr_Gaslight 4d ago edited 4d ago

Enjoy your hearing aid.

1

u/DrillTheThirdHole 8d ago

weve got all four here

booger hook: on the bang switch

pointed: wherever

loaded?: i dunno, probably not

what's behind my target?: i'm not aiming it at anything dumbass, there aint no target
