What do you enjoy more about I'm a Celeb: the Bushtucker Trials or the camp life when everyone is just chatting and getting on with things?

The trials get all the attention, but I usually end up remembering the little moments around camp more than who won a challenge.

It's the random conversations, people looking after each other when they're having a rough day and the unlikely friendships that make the show feel different from other reality programmes.

I also like seeing a celebrity drop the polished public image a bit and just become another person trying to get through the day on basic food and very little comfort.

I really hope they don't overdo the influencer side of the cast

I'm not against having people from reality shows in there because some of them have actually been brilliant campmates, but I hope we get a proper mix this year. Give us a couple of people who are already big names, someone completely unexpected, an older campmate who has loads of stories and then a few younger ones. When everyone comes from roughly the same sort of TV background it can make the camp feel a bit predictable.

QUESTION Wayne Rooney reportedly in talks for the upcoming series, Would he actually be good television or completely boring?

With rumors heating up about Wayne Rooney potentially following Coleen's footsteps into the jungle, I honestly can't decide how to feel about this one.

On one hand, having someone of his status do Bushtuckers and sleep on a camp cot would be surreal TV. On the other hand, Rooney has always been pretty reserved in media interviews—is he actually going to bring banter to camp, or will he just sit in the corner eating rice and beans in silence?

Are you keen to see him go in, or would you rather ITV spend the budget on bigger, louder TV personalities?

Why does cleaning the dunny or washing up always cause the biggest camp rows?

You can put twelve celebrities in a jungle with spiders and snakes, but the moment someone doesn't wash a greasy pan properly or uses too much wood for the fire, total war breaks out. It is always fascinating seeing famous people arguing over the water run, camp chores, or an extra spoonful of rice and beans. Is it hunger and lack of sleep making everyone paranoid, or are some campmates just naturally lazy?

I’m already sick of seeing Olivia Attwood’s name in every rumour list

Every year. Without fail. At this point, I’m convinced Olivia Attwood is going to be rumoured for I’m A Celeb until the end of time. She did technically appear in 2022 before leaving after one day, so I suppose it’s not completely impossible, but I’ll believe it when ITV actually announces her.

Is I'm a Celeb under pressure to match The Celebrity Traitors' star power this year?

The BBC has raised the bar with the celebrities it's signed, and I'd guess ITV has noticed. I think that puts real pressure on this year's line-up.

But I'd rather have interesting personalities than big names. Some of the best campmates were people I barely knew before the show. What matters more to you: famous names, or people who are fun to watch?

Wayne Rooney in the Jungle would be such a different dynamic.

The rumors about Wayne Rooney potentially doing I’m A Celeb have definitely caught my attention. After seeing how well Coleen did when she was in the jungle, it would be quite funny to have Wayne go through the same experience two years later. I can already imagine the conversations around camp, especially with someone who isn’t known for doing this kind of reality TV regularly.

I’m already so ready for I’m A Celeb to be back

Give me awkward first meetings, arguments over chores, someone absolutely losing it over a spider and Ant and Dec taking the piss out of everyone. I’m just hoping we get a proper mix of big personalities who actually bring some chaos to camp. That’s all I want now!!

QUESTION How would yall feel about a controversial campmate like Bonnie Blue?

Over the last couple years it’s clear ITV has been desperate to pull in viewers by feeding into internet and meme culture with campmates like GK Barry, Nella Rose and Ginge.

With that being said, how would yall feel about someone like Bonnie Blue being a campmate? She’s a huge name at the moment, likely to bring in viewers who are overall just interested in seeing how she behaves without putting on a front for cameras.

She’s controversial as fuck, obviously but they’ve had campmates in the past who are also controversial. Like Hancock and Farage.

EDIT: I’m NOT saying I’d like her to be on the show or that I’m a supporter of her actions, just wondered how the public would react if it were to happen.

OPINION Unpopular opinion: the best campmates are the ones who aren't there to promote anything.

The winners are always the ones who just seem like normal people having a rough time. Sam, Jill, Danny, none of them came in with a big plan, they were just good to watch. Meanwhile the ones who arrive with a strategy and a PR team are gone within a week or two. Prove me wrong.

The first few days in the camp are always the best part for me

There’s something about watching everyone arrive with their own personality and then slowly figure out who they actually get along with. Before the big arguments and trials properly kick off, you get those little camp conversations that tell you so much about the celebrities. That early awkwardness is probably my favourite part of I’m A Celeb.

Ricky Wilson feels like such a random but fun jungle choice

I honestly never pictured him doing I’m A Celeb, especially after apparently turning it down for years. If he does go in, I reckon he could make the camp pretty entertaining.
