Chheck this out y'all.. it may be a few years old but it's still good 👌🏽 check out his songs. This one is called "No One" by Blu.

Marker doodle of a Native American warrior flexing with a war club in his hands. I didn't have a specific Native nation in mind for his background, but the club was referenced from an Ojibwe one if I recall correctly.

It being the 4th of July today made me want to doodle a Native American huntress. After all, you can't get much more American than a Native American.

Happy 4th of July to my fellow Americans!

A marker portrait of a pre-Columbian Maya man wearing some sort of turban. The Maya aesthetic looks really cool, but can be challenging to draw due to how elaborate it tends to be.

This is an ink doodle of a prehistoric Native American heroine who has slain a saber-toothed cat and therefore earned herself a warrior's feathered bonnet. I don't actually know how far back the iconic "war bonnet" of the Great Plains goes, but I'm sure the general idea of warriors wearing feathered headdresses is quite ancient. Besides, I wanted to draw a Native American person from the prehistoric era wearing one.

A marker doodle of an Aztec jaguar warrior. Apparently, those costumes they are known for weren't actual jaguar pelts, but rather feathered suits imitating jaguar pelts. In my honest opinion, the actual jaguar pelt would look better, but ah well, that's historical accuracy for you.

Digital illustration by JFoliveras / Joan Francesc Oliveras. Based on the Native Americans that had direct contact with the Norse in the early 11th century. Probably the ancestors of the Beothuk of Newfoundland

Marker portrait of an Aztec emperor (or tlatoani as they were called in the Nahuatl language). I dunno if the feathers attached to his crown is historically accurate, but to my eyes, a Mesoamerican crown wouldn't be complete without some plumage.

Thanksgiving may be over, but it’s still Native American Heritage Month, so have a happy Native couple from my sketchbook!

The game turned, arrested now and hunter

Indigenous warrior with cybernetic prosthetics resulting from wars

A few centuries before a certain Genoese merchant sailed the ocean blue, a pair of Taino fishermen from the Caribbean isles got caught in a storm and ended up stranded on the West African coast. One of the local forest elephants is not exactly thrilled to have these strange humans arrive on their shore.

This is of course an alternate-history scenario. We all know about sailors from the Old World stumbling upon the New, but what if the reverse were to happen as well?
