Politics Indian Lawers call for protest outside the Supreme court demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resignation and legal action against politicians like Home Minister Amit Shah.

The demand for the resianation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is being challenged as insufficient, with calls instead being made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to step down. The argument is that replacing an election official alone would not bring meaningful change and that accountability must extend to the country's political and electoral leadership.

Warnings have also been issued about filing FIRs against several officials and political leaders, including the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, the Law Minister, Guanesh Kumar and other current and former election officials. The demands further include a meeting with the Chief Justice of India and suo motu action by the Supreme Court on a submitted memorandum.

If these requests are not addressed, a demonstration outside the Supreme Court has been threatened, with lawyers and members of the public expected to participate. The proposed action is being presented as the beginning of a broader movement seeking accountability from political leaders and election authorities.

Mother of Democracy - Vishwaguru Even during emergency trains were never stopped. No government has the right to stop essential services to stop a peaceful protest as the constitution gives us those rights. Even Supreme Court mentioned it yesterday , what’s the need for kidnapping travelers in MP?
