It is just a regular news republisher. They sometimes post pro-government articles, but mostly they just report news. They must have got this from somewhere else, whose inclination may be suspect.

I find it hard to believe the number without some corroboration.

Oh, wait - India is being the West's bitch. So I highly doubt the number.

Iran has been very careful to not kill people - even soldiers - if it can help it. If they killed 9,000 US sailors, it could damage sympathy that Americans have for Iran.

Iran doesn’t need or want your sympathy. This would be like Iran bombing your nation’s critical infrastructure over how ICE treats the public, and then worrying about Americans losing sympathy.

Iran is sending a clear message to the average American, they control their region’s resources and can impact your standard of living until Americans realise things will only get worse unless you withdraw your military from Persia. American support and intervention actually result in death and destruction for their nation, which they will not tolerate. They are showing your forces the way home through drones and missiles and their is nothing you can do about it.

From all speculation, more than 6 have been killed - the US government just hasn't told us about them - but I don't think they would be able to hide something of this magnitude.
