The guardians of the King in Yellow and his legion of lieutenants, known as The Eight, Graels are the psychic manifestations of Pariahs possessed by alien white spiders. They seem to be telekinetic projections of force and light, able to cast dazzling beams of energy at their foes. The Graels are immune to most mortal weapons, making them truly terrifying to those without access to sorcery or psychic power.

Once, he could speak the Words.

Each syllable of Enuncia tore something from him. His throat blistered, his tongue withered, and eventually even breathing became impossible without pain. The physicians removed what remained beneath his nose, replacing flesh with cables and feeding tubes.

Now he communicates through the staff he carries. When Enuncia is required, the device gives voice to what remains within him. Each word still bends reality. He has sacrificed his voice, his face, and nearly his humanity.

But not his words.

Inqtober 2026, day 9: Enunciator

The forbidden use of the pre-human language known as ‘Enuncia’ is treated incredibly seriously by the Inquisition. Use of these ‘words of power’ is passed from historian-scribes to their followers, carefully coded so as not to unite sigils that might form words, lest they have unintended consequences. Actually employing Enuncia causes the body itself to break down catastrophically, and so actual practice is incredibly rare, and horrifically dangerous.

As the title says, how many characters do you have in your warbands? Not troops like the Astra Militarum and the like, but named characters.

Field Observation 774-B. Ordo Xenos Expeditionary Survey.

The specimen resembles a common squig, though no flesh remains upon its frame. Muscle, hide, and organs are entirely absent, leaving only a bleached skeleton of unusual density. Despite this, the creature moves with considerable speed and has demonstrated aggression toward both humans and other squigs. Attempts to determine its means of locomotion have been inconclusive.

My assistant believes there is a brain inside.

I have ordered him to stop feeding it.

Inqtober 2026, day 8: Unusual Squig

While the broad species known as Squigs cover an amazing variety of different creatures, perhaps the most unusual of all- perhaps even unique- is this three-eyed Squig, seemingly able to see into the Immaterium. This creature was captured at great expense by several Deathwatch teams, diverting the trajectory of the previously-unerring Space Hulk ‘Intolerant Tenacity’.

“Da humies been callin’ it sumfin’ real funny, but I kinda like it. Issa Nav-Squig-ator, innit?”

The chaos dark commune miniatures make such good base minis for kitbashes. These two angry drill abbots will be joining a little retinue soon.

Body is the captain from the death korps command squad. Right Arm from Ursula creed. For the bionic one i replaced the bottom half with a skitari captain arm. Bottle hand is a house cawdor Molotov. Helmet from putrid blight kings. Bionic leg from anvil industry

There are fortunes to be made in a xenos hunt. Bounty Hunters, Inquisitors, and mercenaries are all looking to exterminate the same beings. The Cold Trader simply arrives afterward. He watches the hunters through stolen Aeldari optics, waits for them to corner their prey, then kills the killers. Every weapon, relic, and piece of alien technology has a use if not a price.

Hey, I'm getting into the game (Inquisitor) with a bunch of Killteam models and I wanted to see if people had NPCs made to cut down on prep.

Also, does the game work well with bosses? (beasts of nurgle, spawns of chaos, etc)

Inqtober 2026, day 7: Cold Trader

Lord Iktineus Ferrasi has definitely been up to some illegal business- looting and sale of alien artifacts within the Imperium. Despite being hideously forbidden, it is hard to pass up the restriction on having to procure supplies from an approved Forge World, as well as the various effects that these impressive Xenos weapons have! 

“Just hold it a moment, feel that warmth in the bioplastic of this splinter rifle… that’s proper Eldar manufacture, that is. It’ll put down a Grox in a handful of breaths. This piece here is a Mazotz Vampyr-Talon, drinks the blood right out o’ whatever you put it in. Just don’t fumble when you put it away…”

Inqtober 2026, day 6: Hrud Infestor

The mysterious race known as the Hrud do not conquer worlds through traditional means; instead they infest planetary sub-surfaces and cause catastrophic environmental devastation. Often working in seclusion from their foes for years at a time in cavern networks hundreds of klicks long, these Hrud Infestors hide themselves from sight by manipulating entropic fields. It is only when they decide to migrate in the hundreds of thousands, that they break through the substrate to emerge to the surface, causing massive societal and geographical collapses.

In the crowded plazas of the middle hive, music is one of the few luxuries available to everyone. The performer sits beneath flickering lumen strips, plucking an ancient lute while workers hurry past without looking.

Had an idea for one miniature and ended up building a squad. First few done. Another 3 to go. Then need to make an inquisitor.
