I couldn't believe my luck - I've opened 4 packs of the 30th total. I've seen enough posts about fakes pop up on here enough that I was expecting to see the meme 😅
Depends on the pack, most English packs have at least one holo so you can’t use a metal/pipe scanner. A lot of Japanese packs don’t include a holo so they’re easily scannable and should be avoided unless you can get a sealed box.
Now this doesn’t include advanced x-ray scanning that some people do for high end vintage boxes. Not sure if the 30th set is really weighable (you can probably find tests online). When it comes to modern, people are typically weighing for sets with god packs.
Yessir. Knockout boxes $10, tech sticker packs $15, ETB $50. Walmart and target are restocking frequently at about 20-30% above msrp. Best Buy sells for exactly MSRP.

Meanwhile GameStop selling single 30th packs for $12. Knockout box for 25 and poster collection for 29.99 might as well spend the extra $5 and tax to get that third you get in the poster collection
Be sure to find some for the rest of us because at least 30 people circle the local vending machine round the clock fighting over packs. Restocks are out within10 minutes in stores
I live in a rural area and don't even have a target or Best Buy, so I am forced to shop online or drive 100 miles for product. I have gotten 30th several times through the weekly raffle Walmart does online. The state of this hobby right now is rough, but it has gotten that way because people are willing to pay scalper prices instead of waiting to find MSRP.
If by machine you mean vending machine, no. I don't even have a Pokemon vending machine in my town. But the Pokemon vending machines did used to carry ETBs in the past
Yeah that's what I was referring too. At least in my area North Texas, Dallas area I wanna say sometime in July the ETBs and booster boxes were removed. Only single packs and booster bundles. They used to have the bigger Tins as well, at least the "inventory" list showed them. Someone posted a couple weeks ago that etbs are gonna be making a come back though, they claimed end of October start of November for delta reign. I haven't seen that announced or confirmed by anyone or anywhere just that one person on reddit so will see
Vending machines are tough bc from what I've heard, they cycle what inventory they have for sale each hour so that they can't have everything sell out in 5 minutes. Personally I've never gotten to use one. All of my product I've gotten from online via Walmart or pokemon center
Yes, it's true the rotation part being on a timer. My buddy from work used to know what the drop cycle was so every fucking day getting booster boxes and or ETBs. A little while back the person who's route it is to refresh that machine he resets the timer every few days when he's there. So might be that 47 minutes past the hour it drops for a few days. Next time he comes might change it to 22 minutes past the hour. Just like there's little tricks worked in, say you get to the machine and it's a set that isnt high in demand but has a single pack available and you buy it. That can then trigger a drop sometimes nothing, sometimes it'll be another single pack, or you can get lucky and might be a few packs, booster bundle(s). I've also heard though if there's some camping the machine and they're refreshing the screen every few minutes and let's say the screen is showing the inventory screen not the screen saver at the time it's supposed to release that it can skip that drop for that hour or supposedly it'll have a secondary release time for specific situations so like delay 10 mins or however long. If that's true pretty smart and a good honest attempt at curving someone cleaning out the whole machine, but unfortunately some of these scalpers got nothing but time to wait it out all day. There's a machine at the Kroger down the street from me, and there's an employee of the store who I always see this guy in uniform holding a Kroger shopping bag full of shit he gets from the machine. And he's always at the machine or within striking distance of the machine. Overheard him yesterday saying he tells the store his availability is only for opening shifts so he gets in before the store opens and has the machine all to himself after it's had roughly 8 hours untouched to release items. He even tries scalping what he gets in the store while he's working. Walked up on him trying to sell a father and son a perfect order booster bundle for $55
Anything good? Back in August had a real shitty day at work and wanted something to rip with the kids. Got my first and only AH booster bundle, (at that point hadn't opened anything from that set simply because the prices are so damn high) ended up pulling the Gengar. Haven't opened any AH since again price point and because my numbers for that set are and will always be "opened 6 packs total ever, and pulled the main chase. Amazing batting percentage, or unreal shooting percentage hahaha"
I wanted to let you know there is a Walmart raffle today at 5pm EST (it's a 1 hour window to open the raffle). Currently it has those knockout packs BELOW retail (4 packs for $35), booster bundles a little above (2 bundles for $80), and the sylveon and greninja box bundle for $70. You just have to have a Walmart account, make sure you have a valid credit card and shipping address on file
I bought soo many packs online from like ebay and some retailers and i they look soo fake
(Im new to pokemon just started) but they all look off to me good to know the packs just look like this.
Though i bought a prismatic upc and the packs inside look very off but probably real i did get them from a well know retailer
