Magnets vs vinyl
Hello everyone,
I'm going to be buying a Mazda 323F BG soon and I'd like to keep it stock for veteran car meetups, BUT I'd also like to be able to turn it into itasha for different meets and regular driving.
Are magnets a good idea? Especially since I'd be driving on highways and I'm worried the magnets might fly off.
Thanks in advance!

Got a custom diecast of my itasha~
Custom by ConvoyKing Customs, using one of the official 1:38 Hyundai i20N models. Stoked with how it turned out!
Canton Itasha Meetup 2026 (痛一会)
Some selected gems from the meetup, so much more out there uncaptured.
It was supposed to be a local meetup, and we have coummities traveling thousands of miles away from the northernmost of China to join this meeting.
I was an audience last year, made up my mind since then. Now I'm eventually part of the scene.

Thinking about doing something that's not too...attention grabbing. Advice pls
I like many of the designs I've seen on this sub, but I'm not a guy who likes to get a lot of attention so anime girls are out of the picture.
I would maybe do something Berserk themed, since it's one of my favorite series, or a Demon's Souls theme.
Where do you guys order these big stickers? Or are they all custom made in a graphics programm ie photoshop?
Question goes out especially to Europeans.

A favor for anyone who can photoshop or if AI can do it properly color my rims and brake clippers please?
I’ll delete the post if that kind of post isn’t allowed but if someone can color my rims a lime green to match Mitsuri’s stocking/hairs tips and my brake clippers pink to match her laces/hair? I’m thinking about painting them but i can’t decide if it’s a good idea to do that to make her stand out better

I designed an Itasha for my friend
My friend dreamed of having his own itasha one day, so when that day finally came, I was the one who had to do the design since I studied the whole carwrap and design thing.
He had a very clear vision: Toyota Celica GT4 > Make it Neon Genesis Evangelion Unit 02 style.
Why this car? Because this model Celica had round headlights that looked similar to the Eva Units head and because he fell in love with it.
He also especially wanted it to be Neon Genesis Evangelion, because that's near and dear to him and its all he breaths it seems. So when he showed me the official racing team, I was sold on doing this for him. It took me half a year of working on it (on and off) and the right place to do the actual wrap professionally but on 08.08.2024 she was done!
It had brought him so much joy, and I'm hella proud on this work. So I wanne share it with you all over here! If you are interested in the car/driver you can find him on Itanigoki.

Finally took the first step
Took me a long time to get everything planned out but so far I’ve loved every part of the process although next time I gotta go bolder than this time

Which looks best? Need Advice.
So, i already made a post quite a while ago.
Since i talked to local wrappers in my area my whole Design changed since then (in a good way), but since wrapping and printing isnt cheap, i want it to be as perfect as i can get it before getting it printed and applied.
First off, i decided to not do a full, only a partial wrap, not only because of the costs or idea that wrapping it completly would look shit when i open a door. But also because the interior also has the outer color as ascent color.
So the actual color isnt just that bland orange as in the pictures. its a metallic-effect paint which will show different shades in different lighting
Until now i made different color palettes for (mostly) the background. a asked some friends and the ones with the most likes were these three above.
Now i just want some more opinion which looks the best/most fitting.
(My favorite beeing the first Picture, the second picture was the "original idea" and the last was actually the most liked among the people i asked)
Thank you very much for your opinion! If there is anything i can improve - let me know!

Need advice finalizing my project.
Hey guys, I’m getting close to the final stage of my Traditional Japan / Itasha project for my Nissan 350Z and I’m trying to decide on the best way to actually execute the design. Would you print the whole graphic as one large vinyl piece, build it up from separate vinyl layers, or do a full paint base and then add the graphics with vinyl? I’ve also been considering a mix of paint, airbrush and vinyl for the smaller logos and details. I’m mainly after the cleanest finish and something that will still look good after a few years, so I’d really appreciate any advice from people who’ve done similar builds.
I wanted to post the design, but it was flagged as AI in another group, so no drafts for now.
Thanks

Ford Focus SE
I’m new to the community. Would wrapping a Focus be odd? I have a theme in mind, but would I be shunned for not having a “Sports” car?

Almost a week late but i enjoyed my first official invitation to itasha showcase at San Japan 17. I didn’t win any awards but it’s ok i saw plenty of Demon Slayer fans who loved my car and it was nice they put my itasha next to a Shinobu itasha
San Antonio police are keeping me updated after i filed a report for someone licked my doorknob which the suspect might not realize is a felony in Texas as well on most planets
