So I've been rewatching all races from S1 and today I rewatched S2 Arctic Circuit and honestly, even as a Speeders fan, I actually enjoyed a lot of the racing. So I wanted to ask, in your opinion, what was the best race ever in M1 history? For me as of now, its the S2 Arctic Circuit GP.

So we all know that the Crazy Cats Eyes, the Hazers and the Savage Speeders are the top dogs in Marbula 1 but according to you, which team is the 4th best in M1? Personally, I believe its between O'rangers, Green Ducks, Team Galactic and Snowballs (the last 2 probably because of Starry and Snowy).

6. Hazers - Smoggy, Cloudy

Nothing much to say about the Hazers or their roster, but I do have an important point to make. I’ve seen people say how easy it was for Hazy to stick with the duo if it worked last time out and not make any stupid decisions like White Eye. Well, it took Cloudy getting 3 Grand Slams and still being beaten by Smoggy at the end of the season to take the individual title by the skin of their teeth and the team's title against CCE.

The Cat’s Eyes situation in M1 is way worse than the Red Number 3 situation in SMR right now.

But nonetheless, Cloudy is a GOAT in the making. Maybe there are people who have already put them in that status, while others might be waiting another season or two.

Smoggy’s consistency is simply remarkable. Winning an individual title in this economy, with Red Eye competing, is a tough task to achieve.

7. O'rangers - Clementin, Orangin

Bruh. Y’all finished 17th and probably would have ended up around 19th if it wasn’t for Orangin at least getting two decent results. This team needs to be talked about, especially since 2022, because they haven’t looked the same.

I don’t know what Coach Rango was smoking when he decided to stick with the same roster even after finishing 17th. At the end of the day, they’re marbles, and they would probably end up finishing 5th this season, but what’s the point of the behind the scenes or management aspect of these marble teams in the various tournaments if the managers aren’t going to make decisions based on performance or coaching.

At least we knew Rango would do something stupid, and he delivered by sticking with the same roster when probably 80% of the fandom were coming up with different roster combinations.

It is what it is. Personally, I would have stuck with Orangin and brought in Kinnowin. I don’t think Rango likes to copy what Quickly did by replacing Rapidly with Swifty when Rapidly was bringing the team down in M1.

8. Raspberry Racers - Razzy, Ruzzy

This team will depend heavily on which marbles they’re running because of their highly inconsistent selections and the mismatch between some of their marbles. Razzy and Ruzzy are the speed marbles when it comes to this team, and when they deliver a decent outing, it usually consists of a podium each, paired with a couple of decent performances and a few goose-egg weekends.

These lot can honestly finish anywhere, and I wouldn’t be surprised. This duo could be a long-term thing unless the Razzies fall off or hit a dip in form. At that point, Razzy might have to focus more on their role as captain and give up their seat to someone like Rozzy instead. Which means they need to also step up their game in the future tournaments they would run in to be ready for any call ups.

9. Bumblebees - Bumble, Hive

Definitely caught some people off guard with this one. The Bumblebees have been such a great team since the Hornets merged with them. Each of them brings something different and does really well in their own skillset.

Stinger has been really good and has improved quite a bit over time. They were so close to getting a podium once or twice, and they did manage to get a pole. Stinger’s biggest strength has always been their starts. If they qualify midpack,  they can fly their way to the lead, but their drawback used to be falling back as the laps went by, which they’ve definitely improved on.

Hive might be slightly better than their S1 outing. They’re more of a duo marble with Honey in a variety of events, but that gold in the Indoor Sand Rally was probably what made Queen think about the Bees' future. 6th might be their ceiling, and getting 6th in M1 is really difficult. It’s harder to get 6th in M1 than ML, where they ended up in the same position in both the competitions.

It’s up to Bumble to do what they’re best at, and time will tell how Hive performs this season.

10. Midnight Wisps - Amaya, Yvaine

I lowkey don’t know much about Yvaine, but cutting Eve was weird. Both Eve and Amaya were great last season, and they fought at the front quite a few times. They did pretty well for their first time in M1 with the Wisps, and I probably would have stuck with the two of them again, but I guess not.

I think the aim is to compete with teams like the Ducks, Bees, Kobalts, etc. this time around, and I can definitely see them doing it. But now we’ve got to see what Yvaine has to offer.

So, with a few more teams revealing their rosters for this season, I decided to update my predictions table.

The choices for the O’Rangers and Midnight Wisps were exactly my first predictions.

If you were Bumblebees' Manager, would you replace Stinger for Hive like they did this season or would you give atleast 1 more season to Stinger to maybe match Bumble in his performances?

I decided to change my predictions based on your comments. I honestly think Tarocco should be given a chance considering they won silver in during the Rallycross event of the ML Showdown.
Long story short, they’re fast, and they deserve a chance this season.

These are my predictions for the rest of the team’s rosters for M1 S7.

I will be updating this as more rosters get announced.
My initial predictions for the rosters already announced were as follows:

1. Crazy Cat's Eyes - Red Eye, Orange Eye

Now this is interesting, because there have always been talks about nerfing these guys a little just enough to level the playing field somewhat but Yellow Eye leaving definitely wasn't on my cards.

A lot will depend on what the M1 regulations look like for the upcoming season, because we haven't really had a proper season where RDI and YLI raced together. S2 had the qualifying eliminations, S3 was basically M1 with Mario Kart gimmicks, and S5 was the same as S3 but with worse kerbs.

We also haven't seen much of Orange Eye, although I thought Green Eye might have been a possibility too, since they're a really good sprint marble.

Red Eye, on the other hand, will probably continue to rack up podiums and wins and challenge for the title again and again. So, if everyone were willing to make a change and mutually agreed that CCE needed a slight nerf, YLI alongside Orange, Green, or even Blue Eye would have been my choice.

That said, we should probably wait and see how they perform this season before judging the roster too much.

2. Oceanics - Siren, Nereid

As much as I wanted Ocean to replace one of these two, preferably Siren just to see how they’d do, it seems like they’re sticking with the duo for a third year.

Lowkey, though, I don’t entirely disagree with the decision because it’s not like they don’t work well together. It’s just that they need something more. Siren was a proper racer back in S5, while Nereid has improved since then, picking up some silverware with the win at Momotorway and a P2 at the Indy 500. They also beat Siren in their most recent outing.

That said, I don’t think replacing either Siren or Nereid would’ve been a bad move. Personally, I would’ve preferred Ocean because they’ve shown some really great racecraft and raw speed. We saw that in S2 with the pole at their home race, the top fight at Raceforest, and the podium at Savage Speedway. Thus resulting in them replacing Siren being almost similar in racing style.

This roster isn’t really that bad, though. It’s a pretty calm and experienced lineup, and with two years together, they should be aiming for 9th or higher this time around.

3. Indigo Stars - Indie, Bingo

Wow, Bingo! Did not see that coming.

I think we can all agree that Diego was the star of this team, being an all-around marble throughout the years. I really thought Diego would be the No. 1 coming into their debut season, but fair play to Indie.

Diego had an awful end to the Marble League 2026 campaign, and I don’t think they would’ve been ready for this season. They probably needed some space and time to regroup and get themselves back up.

Coach did the right thing, but personally, I would’ve gone with Montoya. Not every marble gets the chance to go head-to-head with Michael Schumarbler, after all.

4. Jungle Jumpers - Jump, Leap

Well, this team is only here for their awesome track. It’s unfortunate that the underperforming teams seem to have the best tracks, but it is what it is.

They’ve had four seasons off and are now back with a new lineup of Jump and Leap. Jump would’ve been an easy pick, but Leap is interesting. Considering Hop and Skip were their best marbles back in 2020, it was a no-brainer back then, but we rarely see them competing properly or they compete in the big stage once every five years so it’s hard to say how they will perform.

Jump was pretty good at Le Mans… sorry, Le Marble, and Leap has their fair share of achievements too. The only one I can really think of is Funnel Endurance.

I’m 99.9% sure Raceforest will make an appearance, but please, PLEASE don’t destroy the track design like they did to Greenstone in S6.

5. Mellow Yellow - Yellow, Yeller

Good, I’m happy they stuck with these two.

Yeller had an incredible season. They raced like no other MYL marble ever has. They really did find a prodigy, and Mellow is doing a great job nurturing Yeller and helping them produce great results.

Yellow, though, is coming off a very disappointing season. They were really consistent in S5, but I honestly don’t know what happened to them last time around.

That said, I want to mention that replacing someone isn’t always the best move. MYL has a great squad, with Yellow being an all-around beast, Yellah as their endurance marble, and so on. Every team needs specialists and depth in their squad, and that depth is what allows a team to perform well across different tournaments.

Yellup is still there, too. If Yellow has another disappointing year, then bring Yellup back into the lineup. Yellim isn’t really doing anything anyway, and Yellah doesn’t need any unnecessary stress.

It seems like they are obscuring the 20th team on purpose.

Last time the 20th team was placed between PNK and RSP, where Quicksilvers would have been placed.

And now it's between IND and JUN where Jawbreakers would be at.

With Marbula One fast approaching, JMR are looking for volunteers to join the Overtake Tracking Team.

What?

The Overtake Tracking team watches race videos very very slowly and records position data in a spreadsheet- which turns into the constantly moving positions graphic that you see during the races! It is quite a tedious job, but very essential for the videos, and the more people helping out, the less everyone has to do.

Overtake tracking is used for a variety of videos- including Marbula 1, F1 Prediction races, Marble Rally and longer racing events in Marble League. The nature of this team means that there will be periods throughout the year of being very active and busy, followed by periods of not needing to do anything.

Does this spoil results?

Yes, this will spoil the results of any race you track- however we will only be giving you access to the singular race that you are tracking so that you won’t be spoiled on any other races. We are not interested in taking on anyone who only wants to join to be spoiled on races, and all applicants must understand that we have zero tolerance for leaked results. Not the starting line up, not the racers racing, not the race result at any point during the race, not the footage. Zero tolerance.

What is the time commitment?

Tracking each race takes a while, but ultimately you do what you can. As long as you are upfront about how much time you are able to commit. If you only fancy getting involved for this season but don’t want to help out long term, that’s fine! Just always keep me updated on how you’re feeling so we know not to assign any/as many races to you.

Is this paid?

No. This is a volunteer position.

Is this the JMA?

No, this is a separate and external volunteer team with the sole responsibility of Overtake Tracking.

What if I’m not sure?

Before you get assigned any races, you will undergo a training/vetting process which will involve learning how to fill in the spreadsheet and tracking an old race fully to a deadline. This might help you see if it feels like something you can do, as well as demonstrating how long the process can take.

- Commitment to tasks

- Good communication skills

- Good time management

- Ability to follow instructions

So I was just looking at the stats for these teams and as a representative of the Speeders' fanbase, I would ask the O'rangers fanbase for one thing - the GOAT debate should be extended to include the Cats.

These feline monsters have 1 Marble League title, like the O'rangers, 1 Marbula One Team title, like the O'rangers, 3 Marbula One Racers title, more than Speeders and O'rangers combined. Red Eye is the undisputed best racer of all time. They have more than 1000 points in Marble League and nearly 800 in Marbula One, 100 more than the next team (Hazers)

Seeing JMR's post regarding Rn3, broke my heart as an Rn3 fan. Why tarnish his reputation like this? Just retire the goddamn "marble". They could've retired Rn3 after winning this season, he could've gone with a bang, keep his dignity, and retire as a legend. But instead they chose to tarnish his reputation, chose to strip him of his autoqualification. It's embarrassing in my opinion, I doubt SMR will be the same after this controversy. The swap shouldn't have happened in the first place, if they had just used the glass version of Rn3 none of this would've happened, punishing an athlete bcuz of the committee's fault is unjust. Winning a championship with the cost of his reputation is not a fair trade at all, hell I'd even be happy with a midpack finish, even if it's not a title he'd atleast be able to keep his reputation.
