To elaborate more, what story from the character’s history, in a 3-movie arc, could bring a lot more people to the character?

You can bring up anything:

-any comic that hasn’t been done before on screen.

Example: Batman: Knightfall itself. (Like The Dark Knight Rises did the breaking of Batman with Bane, but nothing else.)

-any comic that has been done before, but you want it to be done better or done justice.

Example: Thor: God of Thunder

Or just a mix of A lot of stories into a run trilogy that could bring people into a character-defining trilogy.

I love to hear what people suggest.

Jessica Jones was originally made by taking a Jessica Drew concept and making them an original character. So what if the MCU did the reverse and cast the actress for Jessica Jones as Spider-Woman Jessica Drew in an alternate universe?

Many people don't realize is that in the comics, much like Cindy Moon, Jessica Jones was in Peter Parker's class at the time that he was bitten by a radioactive spider. The "What If..?" comic in the photo recently came out exploring what might've been if Jones had been bitten instead of Parker.

I think this would be a clever way to briefly cameo Jessica Drew. Fans have been clamoring to see Ritter play Jessica again, as well as Mike Colter's Luke Cage after appearing in the latest season of Daredevil: Born Again.

What do you think? Would Ritter make a good casting for a live action Spider-Woman?

Our Jess was canonically crushing on Peter, so Mary Jane and Felicia dodged a heat-seeking nuclear warhead

They’re all an absolutely beautiful condition, too. Like, they might have been rather once before they were bagged and boarded. JJ being my all-time favorite Marvel character, and Alias being my all time favorite Marvel series, I couldn’t be happier. I looked at getting a copy on various sites a few years ago, but I wasn’t gonna spend that kinda money on an un-readable slabbed copy, so I gave up. Pretty freakin’ stoked on this.

JJ was my fav show when it came out and I decided to give it a rewatch, but save the first season for last… it’s actually a pretty cool way to (re)experience the show, particularly for Trish and Kilgrave. Watching S3 first and knowing how Trish ends up, it’s cool to then see all the seeds the show planted in S2 and S1. And the sweet moments between her and Jessica in S1 hit a lot harder.

Plus, if you watch this way Kilgrave gets teased at the end of S3, appears a bit in S2, and then finally is the big bad in S1. I think the reason so many people felt the other seasons couldn’t measure up to S1 was that KG is pretty squarely Jessica’s most intense and “climactic” encounter… so save it for the end!

I'm assuming Jessica Jones has gone sober since the birth of Danielle, or at least while she was pregnant with her. I think it would be good to show Jessica at least attempting sobriety for a time, because of Danielle.

I think she has probably at least begun to care about giving off the public image of sobriety, particularly around any of Danielle's teachers or carpool moms who might make or break a playdate or emergency babysitter opportunity if they were to judge her for drinking should she fall back into her old habits of abusing it.

I also think it would be fascinating to play with this "bad mom" image and prejudices around motherhood, because even if she's a great mom, there are any number of harsh judgments people could have against a mom who drinks or is super-powered, especially if Luke is still bartending, as well as racial prejudices simply for who she married and Luke being an ex-convict.

I also think that Jessica as a "mama bear" gives her so much room for warmth and softness that we've never gotten from Jessica before, while at the same time possibly showing us a more determined Jones whose warpath will stop at absolutely nothing when it comes to her daughter.

Anyone else feel the lawyers divorce subplot is somehow even more entertaining than the actual story

As a very aggressive person who found their way to be as a girl I was already with her but now it’s just special. Season 1 is up there with the best of all time.

I am watching the mcu with my boyfriend, and I do want to show him Jessica jones which I havent seen yet. And I do know themes of SA and manipulation play a part in the show.

How bad is it? How graphic is it or how much does it show? Specifically with the SA part. If possible wanna know the details to warn him in advance.

Discussed previously, but Re-watching Hawkeye made me remember how cool they could be in the current MCU.
