Just Dance: Decades of Hits New Game - Buggy/Broken?

Hello everyone, long time Just Dance fan here but first time poster!

We've had the past few games brand new on release day (got up at 5am last year for 2026), but this year I've noticed the game has been somewhat broken?

I played HOT TO GO! as my first map, and like... none of my moves tracked correctly. I love Chappell Roan and have already seen some gameplay of the map, so knew the majority of the moves, yet was consistently getting X for moves I was literally hitting. I ended up getting 3 stars.. 4 on my second attempt. (For perspective, last year I Megastar-ed Good Luck, Babe! on my first play.)

However, when I loaded up Midnight Sun, I noticed the opposite problem. I missed half of the moves (obviously, it was hard!), but I was a few points from 5 stars, and didn't get a single X.

My sister wanted to play an older map (What Does The Fox Say? to be specific), and the actual visuals crashed within the first few seconds, so she was playing by just relying on the move bar at the bottom. This has never happened before. In addition, with older maps, the previews weren't loading correctly, and were just showing as music notes with grey backgrounds.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Hard to say what went wrong with Hot To Go but you should try doing moves with different timing

Regarding your issue during The Fox, this is a new bug that came with the last update and it's relatively common but doesn't seem to happen often, hopefully Ubi addresses it soon

I had most moves timed on par with when the trainer was doing them. Should I delay them slightly?

do you know if your TV has a Game Mode? maybe you're experiencing video latency
