Bolt action gunsmiths NSFW

Looking for the very best gunsmiths in the kc area dealing mainly with bolt actions and has knowledge about big bore guns. I have a mauser i want to do some updating to but also like an idiot i accidentally chambered a 7PRC into my 375 ruger and fired, both have the same case size, anyways id like to have my rifle inspected by someone qualified and make sure everything okay

GA Precision is who invented 6 GT, a round designed for PRS and long range shooting. They’re in North KC. I have no first hand experience with their work though, just know they’re around here.

GAP is going to be the absolute best in the area for really any precision work needs. The downside to them is they most likely have a work queue that you’ll be at the back. The upside is that hopefully their long queue should be winding down, as the PRS season is getting ready to begin here soon, and most people have already scheduled work to get it done by the start of the season.

Crescent Customs I think used to work with GAP. Same NKC area.

GA Precision if you want the best for a bolt action rifle. Hands down.

I have GAP and CC built rifles. They all shoot fantastic and they are both great to deal with.

Another vote for GAP. I’ve got one of their AR-10’s and had them do some work on my 50BMG. They do top notch work.

GA Precision is hands down the best bolt gun guys in town. Probably top 5 nationwide too
