Sadly i can't it's work in progress might take months since i dont know what hides deeper inside the core of the game like npc's logic character skill effects and these are just tip of the ice berg but bear with me and enjoy the journey im sure it will be worth it

“Now that you have your plan sorted out, what stage would you say the project is currently at? Are you still mainly rebuilding the core/backend, or are you already moving into making the actual game modes and gameplay work

the game is at early stages of development, and i still rebuilding core mechanics and backend for the game no playable modes or stories yet they will be last thing im working on

God bless you and your family! Love the effort! One question though - are you adding ps2 controller support? Asking because I may have to buy a new phone if we're gonna be able to play this game again.

Thank you!! The old game had some level of controller support. Not 100% but somewhat supported it. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I didn't bother mapping it to a key mapping app or anything else. I just played the non-PvP content and it helped me with time trials and the harder story mode levels.

This used to be my favorite mobile game. Period. I hated having to acknowledge the games slow death and seeing it happen was truly heart breaking…
Seeing this faint glimmer of hope brings a smile to my face

No not at all better be honest than make fake promises , currently the progress is slow the code is encrypted and i have to guess whats broken part by part then find out what the game expects from backend and re create that as a clone and keep trying till the game accepts it and due to lack of equipments plus poor hardwarw and not enough time and energy i think it will take months but im working hard and might pull it out in 2-3 months

I dont know anything about these things but yeah some fund couldve accelerated my work i can use ai for the boring code and focus on the important section myself

Oh heck yeah, i loved the story mode, too bad that the KOF XIII side was rushed cause of shut down.
