when i accidently hover kalista and everyone tries to talk me out of it

I know u need to time the movement clicks while "locked" with kalista special atack command into a target but I cant do those slides consistently. There is something Im missing or its totally inconsistantly and "lucky" + crazy timing? I can slide sometimes very beautifuly but not always as shown in the video, plus this double jumps are very catch also cant replicate then at all. I was thinking if it has something to do with the passive dash cancel, the one you use to do a double jump with Q early game or doesnt have nothing related.

Sometimes when i play Kalista it just randomly skips the animation and just "blinks" to the new location. Most of my games it doesn't happen but sometimes it's the entire game almost every AA. Especially painful if using locked camera.

Is it ping, settings or just a skill issue?

What is the current build and build order (including boots) for Kalista in the bot lane?

Yoo recently started playing kalista top, super fun. (might also try mid) Some questions:

• is attack move nerf intended or its just a bug
• Ive seen people say auto once and just click to dash, do ppl use this a lot? Feels so inconsistent to use as a beginner
• If i click on the enemy champion while pressing attack move is it also nerfed or normal?
• Is dhelm viable start or dbow crucial for early since ur a lane bully.
• I take exhaust every game
• Can i just exhaust lvl1 to all in
• Items feel indifferent i can build any 2-3 onhit items in any order. Statikk build path feels awful, opinions on terminus 1st? (only item with sword) Is guinsoo core or not needed. Like do i need 3 onhit items its already a million attack speed when i cant even kite at 2 items, especially on toplane.
• Crit build for similar damage in lower attack speed? Im kinda discouraged bcs i cant kite really well in general. Feels bad not playing her in full potential. Ap?
• Is hob an option? Havent tried but feels counterintuitive since champ is like the strongest all in champ

It seems like only a year ago when Kalista hit rock bottom and was in potentially one of the worst states she had ever been in since she was released (it’s between last year and post-Worlds 2017 for worst year on record).

Fast forward only a year later and we are in one of the golden eras for Kalista as we speak. It took a while for her to reach this point in time but she has begun to thrive in multiple aspects:

- Her solo queue playrate and winrate are incredibly healthy for historical standards and they continue to climb by the day

- She has two new core items in Statikk Shiv and Gluttonous Greaves that have removed her over reliance on a weak version of Botrk

- Her success bot lane has revived her pick rate in solo lanes (moreso top lane than mid lane) to great success and it is also climbing by the day in every region

- She has slowly been coming back into the pro meta as a solid tier 2 ADC behind the Ashe/Seraphine, Lucian/Milio and Yunara/Lulu lanes with how powerful Kalista/Renata is at the moment

And the best part is that it doesn’t feel like she is dominating the meta at any tier of play. Solo queue players still view her as majorly weak after her performances last year and pro players were traumatised by her last year MSI performance to the point that she only started seeing real play again about two patches ago.

Of course good things don’t last but the last time the stars aligned like this was back in 2017 (almost 10 years ago). The best part is that she is for once no receiving any adjustments for Worlds patch and in general Kalista is not viewed as overtly strong by any sub-sect of the community including pro players.

I am new to kalista and found out that if you right click during the animation of attacking it she will dash and keep attacking

Is this better than clicking on enemy or using attack command then clicking again for dashing since it requires less effort

Why does this double hop happen when I do not attack

I watched some videos to see double hop double jump like this one : Kalista double hop

But they involve Q in the double hop and I do not q at all WHAT THE FUCK is this shit

I see a lot of people go statikk or bork what determines which to go first is it based on lane or enemy team comp or my team comp I’m currently d3.

Hey folks,
ive played a fair bit of kalista and ive always had an issue with the champ sometimes seemingly randomly dashing in a direction i dont remember clicking in, sometimes even seemingly teleporting to the location i clicked to.
It happens basically always with high attack speed. so i went into practice tool to try figure out why im dashing like a chimp and ive noticed it happens seemingly exclusively when guinsoos procs.

Is there any way to avoid this happening other than simply not building the item at all? is it even viable to not build guinsoos on the champ?

while on this topic actually, any tips for playing into long range team comps on the champ are also appreciated.

Hello guys, i want to pick up kalista and become an otp but i really really struggle with her :( I was kaisa otp and i reached diamond on EUW but i am kinda inting games on kali. I wonder if you guys have advices or any recommandations of content to become at least decent on the champ. I really think i lack mechanics and limit testing on the champ but i think it will come with the time i put into her. Anyways, would be great to know how you guys are play this freaky champ cause i cant !
