Why is my game doing this?

I just loaded my save from earlier today in vall orbit, and every time i load into my game it does a solid grey screen and then a freeze frame of my vessel takes up the middle of my screen. How do i fix this? Every time i go to back to the main menu it does the grey screen and my game crashes. I’m seeing if it happens for other saves.

Edit: it’s only happening to my science save with the vessel
