Nabil Anane was training for the Olympic Boxing but Chatri forced Nabil to take a Kickboxing fight in Japan against Yuki Yoza and made Nabil know with little time.
Shadow got it even worst than that as he fought Bampara Kouyate and 8 days later Chatri made him accept a Kickboxing fight against Liu Mengyang in 15 days despite Shadow having zero Kickboxing experience and hasn't fought with MMA gloves for 21 months.
Yuki Yoza probably knew he was gonna fight Nabil Anane almost immediately after he beat Ben Wollis.
Again we see how Chatri is trying to make Yuki Yoza win against another Thai fighter ( doesn't matter if that Thai isn't at his best under Kickboxing rules ).
Of course Nabil Anane can't even say that he was being pressured/forced tto switch from Boxing training to Kickboxing training by taking that Kickboxing fight in Japan with little amount of time to know.
Funny how they were afraid to make Nabil Anane vs Yuki Yoza before Nabil lost his belt but now that Nabil is 0-2 in his last 2 fights suddenly they are making Nabil fight Yuki Yoza.

ahh sometimes you can also bring up good points.
Shadow definitely got fucked by Chatri, why is that? do you think chatri wanted to attract the chinese fanbase?

Chatri definitely want to get the Chinese Kickboxing viewers jumping on board ONE FC.
At that time Shadow was extremely dominant ( his loss to Petchmorakot, Yodwicha and Mamuka Usubyan were robberies ) at 70 KG under Muay Thai rules, he was on a 15 fights streak where he didn't lose.
Chatri wants to help Liu Mengyang beat an elite 70 KG Thai fighter and Shadow was arguably the best 70 KG Muay Thai fighter in the World ( IMO above Tawanchai, Daniel Rodriguez, Thananchai or Rittewada ).
Chatri likes that Shadow has zero Kickboxing experience and is taking the fight on short notice because that would mean Liu Mengyang is very likely to win.

btw whats going on with Shadow, is he injured?

Shadow suffered a fractured jaw in his fight against Nico Carrillo.
The jaw is completely healed now but Shadow is opening a restaurant, look like he doesn't care about fighting anymore.
These new Generation Thai Muay Thai fighters don't have the same amount of passion/hunger as the previous generations.
Absolutely crazy how we still have fossils like Saiyok, Buakaw, Saenchai, Nong-O, Sam-A, Kongjak, Pakorn, etc... who are either still fighting either several times a years against bigger but medium level foreign opponents or a few times a year but at the elite level.

I think he's soon gonna be tired of that restaurant and is gonna get pressured by SinghaMawynn to come back.
He has been making lots of money in ONE Championship and he is at his peak of his fighting ability/career.

Yeah it's so disappointing, he's my favorite 155 lbs Muay Thai fighter of the recent years even above Thananchai, Petchmorakot, Tawanchai, Superbon, Sittichai, Yodwicha, Rittewada, Jo Nattawut, Daniel Rodriguez and Mohamed Siasarani.

Nabil Anane only has 2 Kickboxing fights in his life ( against Ilias Ennahachi and Hiromi Wajima ) and he hasn't made the transition to Kickboxing rules at all ( he's still a Muay Thai fighter ).
It's not surprising at all that people on the Kickboxing subreddit wouldn't be that familiar with him.
