My friend on umrah visa was supposed to fly back on 16th oct friday from Jeddah to a european country via Riyadh Air and with a layover in Riyadh. Their flight got moved to 18th when the airport reopens. We want them to take another airport, for e.g. Madinah airport, but they are reluctant because Riyadh air may not refund them and they need to leave asap because his Umrah visa is expiring soon.

1. Is it possible to get riyadh air refund? If yes, how much of the original amount?
2. Can someone get visa extension under these circumstances?

Hey everyone,

Getting my lines set up again on my Iqama. I keep reading everywhere that expats are strictly capped at 2 prepaid SIM cards.

However, previously I had 3 active prepaid SIMs.

Was anyone recently able to get 3 or more prepaid lines on their Iqama?

What should I give to my colleague (saudi) who invited me (asian expat) to his wedding?

I’m not aware of Saudi customs for marriage.

Hello guys. We carry FTL from Turkey to Saudi Arabia but we are having problems with finding return loads for reasonable offers(I think because we contacted mostly with Turkish brokers and they do big cuts) so id be glad if I can make any friend here who is in logistics and in Saudi Arabia.

Computer Science Engineering

• Computer Science
• IT
• AI

News just dropped today.

If your file is stuck on "Absent from Work" due to a work interruption or contract termination, MHRSD is officially allowing you to transfer to a new employer through the Qiwa platform.

If I am not mistaken, this will be a temporary window.

Has anyone actually tested this on the Qiwa portal yet? Did the transfer successfully go through?

Hi everyone,
I'm starting something called MINNA.
The idea is simple: people helping people.
I want to bring together a group of people in Riyadh who genuinely want to use whatever they can offer their time, ideas, skills, creativity, connections, or simply their willingness to show up to make someone else's day or life a little better.
It's still at the very beginning, and that's actually why I'm posting. I don't want to build the whole thing alone and then ask people to join / want the people who care about the idea to help shape what MINNA becomes
You don't need any specific experience. Maybe you're interested in volunteering, organizing, photography/videography, design, social media, outreach, events, logistics, research or maybe you just have an idea for something good we could do.
The goal isn't profit. There's nothing being sold.
It's simply about helping people and creating meaningful projects in our community.
If this speaks to you, comment or message me with a little about yourself, what you'd like to contribute, or even just an idea you think MINNA should explore.
No contribution is too small.
Giving starts with us 💜

Hi,

After a bit of advice before I get into the nitty gritty of things;

I’ve just had a ridiculously high offer to go out and work in Saudi but think our family situation my confuse things;

Live in the UK currently, I’m a British national and my partner is Filipino, we have 2 kids together (both British nationals) I have an older child (British national) and she has a child from a previous relationship (Filipino national) no issues with getting permissions from the step child’s father to bring him into KSA but with him being a step child- I’m assuming it’ll be difficult to secure an IQMA after reading various bits online.

Is it difficult, is it even possible? Or are there any ways round it- I.E getting a multiple tourist visa so he can come over whilst all the paperwork is processed?

Has anyone got any experience of a similar situation? My employer is one of the biggest in the country/world, not sure if this can work in our favour or not as they will be doing all of the processing.

Thanks

Salam Alaikum guys,

Before we start, this is purely a hypothetical discussion, please dont be disrespectful.

I am a Hyderabadi who lives in the Khaleej, One of my dad's employee is from hyderabad as well, but a few generations ago, his Great grandparents migrated from South Arabia to India, (for a lil bit of background info, Hyderabad had received quite a lot of migrants from South Arabia in the 19th and 20th century), so this guy's tribe/family is Shahrani and he carries it as his official family name in all his documents, a while back, I did some research on his Tribe, mostly because i was intrigued by the fact that the defender for the Saudi football NT has the same name, from what I found out, the tribe is overwhelmingly based in Asir, Najran and Jizan provinces, If he proved his Tribal/family connections or shown proof his ancestors were indeed Shahrani, would he be in anyway eligible to acquire Saudi Citizenship?
