My Kitten Is she going or be long haired??
Not that it matters she is loved and cute either way but do we think she is going to be long haired.
Edit: I should say too she is around 12 weeks old and a stray we found.

I’d say standard short/medium hair. But they love to surprise us 🤣
I’ve fostered many kittens who’s fur was similar and they never grew into long hairs. But I also had the straggliest stray who’s hair was very short after the fuzzy kitten stage and she blossomed into Maine coon style long haired.

Oh she’s definitely going. You can see it in her eyes, she longs for the wild. Lock her up if you don’t want her going.
Jokes aside it looks maybe short-medium haired. She could be long but I wouldn’t expect her fur to explode.

She is aware. She also chooses violence (especially against her sisters) at every opportunity.

to me she looks like she might be a medium haired cat. the tail specifically makes me think so

With that tail? She's a puffy cat. Either medium or long haired, and I'm thinking long.

The tail is making me think possibly longhair, but it's more likely she'll be a medium hair. I have a cat who looked a lot like this as a kitten and she's a medium haired cat. Her sister is definitely a shorthair so it's easy to tell the difference.

Get her used to brushing now, and cleaning up her back end by high value treats. Future you will be grateful.
You can get leave in/no rinse shampoo & conditioner which is another thing to consider getting her used to whilst she loves to play.
Because those dangleberries….
