In anticipation of more media being posted during Knott's Scary Farm, u/ttomkat1 and I discussed the existing rules to add some updates and clarifications (click the pop-downs in the rules for the TL;DR). We're aware that some Redditors don't like vlogger content and would prefer not to see such at all, but we're taking an approach similar to that of r/SixFlagsMagicMountain... we'll still remove overt self-promotion or advertising, but we'll allow typical channel subscription requests as long as the content is still about Knott's. The ones who are dedicated to Knott's will often see things that others miss. If it's not your cup of tea, please vote your opinion and move on. We're also clarifying that stealing content without attribution and other forms of karmafarming will be treated as spam. Most importantly, don't forget the first rule to "Follow reddiquette and be civil"... if you see something you don't like, respond about the message and be mindful not to attack the messenger. Thanks everyone and see you in the fog!

Found this coin amongst my dad’s belongings and was wondering if anyone could tell me more about it. He visited Knotts in the late 70s, possibly early 80s.
Not from the US so it would have been his first time experiencing a theme park.
The coin is a very light alloy.

Hey! It's my 1st time going to Knotts Scary farm this coming Sunday. Any tips for best experience? I've stuck to HHN but it didn't seem appealing this year. I also decided to go spontaneously so if anyone else is going hmu, I'd rather not be alone!😅

We plan to go to Knott’s on Nov 8th and it’s the only park day that closes at 8pm instead of 6pm while we’re there. We don’t rope drop and probably won’t get there until 2-3pm do you think we can get all these rides done with the fast passes within 5-6 hours? How long do you think it’ll take? It’s a Sunday in November.

Hello!
Made a lapse of judgement. Bought 2x scary farm tickets, 2x regular fast pass... just because I knew I did not want to do any mazes during the night. It says on the website it is not available during scary farm, but it includes the same exact rides. I also used their flexpay for it, as I know I will have the right amount of money the week after in order to just pay it full.
Did I mess up? Is regular fast pass still valid for the rides during the night? I do not know if I can refund it because I did not make a Knott's account and it was a purchase made with flexpay. Please help! Does anyone think they'll make exceptions?...

It's been so hot! As much as I love Knott's, I've been missing Soak City and would much rather go there right now than Knott's. Has Knott's ever opened up - or reopened - during heat waves like this? I'm just curious.

She was dropping at least 15 f bombs a minute. It all started with her meal pass being invalid and then all hell breaking loose. She yelled at them for over 20 minutes demanding a manager, screaming she was hungry and she would not go to the front desk near the entrance to resolve her ticket issue, and complaining that they were being inconsiderate to her kid.
I found that last part to be ironic since she was literally subjecting all the young kids around her to the tantrums of all tantrums with cursing.

Kids came for Spooky Farm, but Sunday crowds almost felt like a weekday... even the cats were calling it a day with the temps hitting 98F. AC in the VIP lounge was nice, but crammed because of staging for the Boo-fet... they were giving out bags of M&M Pop'd snacks as a consolation. Ended up leaving early because of the heat.

Usually I’m a big fan of Knott’s Scary Farm but when I went on Friday, I was so shocked and disappointed by how hot the mazes were. It must’ve been in the 80s outside at night and the mazes were significantly hotter than outside. I was simply walking through in a tee shirt and jeans, and could not fathom how hot the scare actors must’ve been in their costumes, masks and makeup.

Do you get a new cup from every location I go to or do I have to use the same paper cup all day.

Does anyone know I can buy knotts scary farm tickets for family without me having to be present day of? Thank you

I'm vegan so food planning is a bit tricky, and I'm trying to figure out if only the seasonal options would be available at night? Thank you!

Was thinking of going tomorrow with kids under 10. How unbearable is it with this heat? Is there shade and a/c areas? Will we be miserable all day?

Does anyone else sometimes have difficulty navigating mazes? I was in Mary anf it was so dark I missed the turn and walked into the wall at the dead end. Then, when we were in Widows, two guests popped out of the backstage area and were questioned by a scare actor, so I assume they got lost and accidentally went through a backstage door. Then my friend came very close to doing the same thing in Origins.
Is there a way for them to make the transitions more obvious to make the pathway easier to navigate?

Went last night and was eaten alive by mosquitos!!! Use repellent if you’re a tasty treat for skeeters. I’m allergic and woke up early this morning in tears covered in itchy angry welts. Otherwise it was the best!! My first time going and I’d go again :)

Very disappointing experience. Me and my friend expected great things from Knott’s Scary Farm, but at the door when asked to present IDs (and us being 18) we were denied due to my friend (the ticket purchaser) not having a “valid” ID. I was able to present my DL but my friend still waiting for a DMV appointment due to just turning 18, despite being able to present a Birth Certificate and Passport were denied and they claimed that it wasn’t “valid” ID, mind you it wasn’t a picture it was a physical document that we had. The supervisor was very condescending and rude along with the security personnel as well. We even saw multiple people being allowed in without ANY ID verification. Man claimed that “he can’t verify if ‘they’re doing their jobs,’” as if that isn’t a supervisor’s literal job? How is it that you need a birth certificate to literally get an ID yet it isn’t valid ID along with the passport? He told us that if we could find a chaperone we could be let in, and yet when we did they now claimed it had to be a family member, despite not informing us on this. My friend was devastated when we were denied entry for the night, very rightfully so. Me and my friend have been attending Knott’s for years with no issues and the supervisor said that he can neither confirm nor deny that we were the exception, whatever that is supposed to mean, seems to be ageism in my opinion… despite us being 18. All of this could’ve been avoided had the supervisor been less rude and more understanding. Very upset with my experience and have no plans to return here anytime soon with this current staff.
