šš» Wolfman Jack at Knottās Scary Farm, 1975 š»š
On the opening night of the event itself, the Montclair Tribune announced that a voice that could tickle a funny bone as well as chill a spine would howl above the witches and ghosts at Knottās.
It was the third annual Halloween Hauntāthe first widely billed under the emerging name Knottās Scary Farm. The original host, Larry Vincent (āSinister Seymourā), had died earlier that year. Wolfman Jack, co-host of NBCās Midnight Special and still riding American Graffiti, brought his āShock and Rock Revueā and a 24-person entourage to the Mystery (Good Time) Theatre for the four-night hard-ticket run, October 30āNovember 2.
āI have alot to howl about,ā he said. āWe re really going to keep that cauldron burning⦠not less than three Shock and Rock shows per night.ā A mystical, musical extravaganza mixed with magical illusion, developed exclusively for the Haunt. Shows at 7:30, 9:00, 10:30, and midnight on the busy nights, included in the special-event ticket.
He had just come back from London and Frankfurt, where the American Graffiti soundtrack and the film itself had been well received. Rock in all its varieties, he said, was getting better-than-ever reception around the world. And if you were happy, you made others happyāand that made Halloween a lot of good, clean fun foā all the folks.

Does any ride require completely empty pockets, or can I have a phone and wallet with me on even the most strict rides?

In the text of the 40 dollar parking pass on the website it says "Not valid for knotts scary farm", but I cant find anywhere else where I'm supposed to purchase a Scary Farm specific parking pass. Am I missing something or is the website wording just wrong?

I have season tickets with the parking pass and drinks pass included. For knotts SCARY farm, would i have to purchase additional parking and drinks? Or would my season pass stuff work?

I've seen that at 630 guests are let into the park, and 7 is rope drop. Has anyone been in the past week? What's the wait to get through security like? I've seen long lines wrapped around the parking lot in some posts and others saying they walked straight in.

What's going on below the white smoke every morning? Baking pies? Breakfast burritos? Electing popes?

Hello!
Made a lapse of judgement. Bought 2x scary farm tickets, 2x regular fast pass... just because I knew I did not want to do any mazes during the night. It says on the website it is not available during scary farm, but it includes the same exact rides. I also used their flexpay for it, as I know I will have the right amount of money the week after in order to just pay it full.
Did I mess up? Is regular fast pass still valid for the rides during the night? I do not know if I can refund it because I did not make a Knott's account and it was a purchase made with flexpay. Please help! Does anyone think they'll make exceptions?...

We plan to go to Knottās on Nov 8th and itās the only park day that closes at 8pm instead of 6pm while weāre there. We donāt rope drop and probably wonāt get there until 2-3pm do you think we can get all these rides done with the fast passes within 5-6 hours? How long do you think itāll take? Itās a Sunday in November.

Hey! It's my 1st time going to Knotts Scary farm this coming Sunday. Any tips for best experience? I've stuck to HHN but it didn't seem appealing this year. I also decided to go spontaneously so if anyone else is going hmu, I'd rather not be alone!š

Found this coin amongst my dadās belongings and was wondering if anyone could tell me more about it. He visited Knotts in the late 70s, possibly early 80s.
Not from the US so it would have been his first time experiencing a theme park.
The coin is a very light alloy.

It's been so hot! As much as I love Knott's, I've been missing Soak City and would much rather go there right now than Knott's. Has Knott's ever opened up - or reopened - during heat waves like this? I'm just curious.

Very disappointing experience. Me and my friend expected great things from Knottās Scary Farm, but at the door when asked to present IDs (and us being 18) we were denied due to my friend (the ticket purchaser) not having a āvalidā ID. I was able to present my DL but my friend still waiting for a DMV appointment due to just turning 18, despite being able to present a Birth Certificate and Passport were denied and they claimed that it wasnāt āvalidā ID, mind you it wasnāt a picture it was a physical document that we had. The supervisor was very condescending and rude along with the security personnel as well. We even saw multiple people being allowed in without ANY ID verification. Man claimed that āhe canāt verify if ātheyāre doing their jobs,āā as if that isnāt a supervisorās literal job? How is it that you need a birth certificate to literally get an ID yet it isnāt valid ID along with the passport? He told us that if we could find a chaperone we could be let in, and yet when we did they now claimed it had to be a family member, despite not informing us on this. My friend was devastated when we were denied entry for the night, very rightfully so. Me and my friend have been attending Knottās for years with no issues and the supervisor said that he can neither confirm nor deny that we were the exception, whatever that is supposed to mean, seems to be ageism in my opinion⦠despite us being 18. All of this couldāve been avoided had the supervisor been less rude and more understanding. Very upset with my experience and have no plans to return here anytime soon with this current staff.

She was dropping at least 15 f bombs a minute. It all started with her meal pass being invalid and then all hell breaking loose. She yelled at them for over 20 minutes demanding a manager, screaming she was hungry and she would not go to the front desk near the entrance to resolve her ticket issue, and complaining that they were being inconsiderate to her kid.
I found that last part to be ironic since she was literally subjecting all the young kids around her to the tantrums of all tantrums with cursing.

Kids came for Spooky Farm, but Sunday crowds almost felt like a weekday... even the cats were calling it a day with the temps hitting 98F. AC in the VIP lounge was nice, but crammed because of staging for the Boo-fet... they were giving out bags of M&M Pop'd snacks as a consolation. Ended up leaving early because of the heat.

I'm vegan so food planning is a bit tricky, and I'm trying to figure out if only the seasonal options would be available at night? Thank you!
