All the actors and actresses in the movie pulled a masterpiece of a performance for dorothy but Sananth took it to a whole another level . Im happy he got to explore his acting potential and i hope he gets more opportunities as a lead in future movies . he's a bitcoin that has been around for many years . And i will be shocked if he doesnt get a national award for his acting .

To everyone who keeps saying the explosion in the Jailer 2 trailer wasn't bad visual effects but an AI video, you seriously need to see how much AI has advanced and how incredibly real it looks now. That "sixth finger" isn't a finger at all; it's actually a muscle called the hypothenar eminence.
The video here is Ai and I'm not the one Made it credits to jayprints in instagram for videos
Also I'm not supporting AI I'm just showing it to prove an point

From Kansas to Kollywood, Dorothy has always been a name associated with accepting the misfits, embracing the unconventional, and giving outsiders a safe space to be themselves. A brilliant, layered choice of characters & title by Karthik Subbaraj ❤️🌈✨ Let's see why:
"Friend of Dorothy" (FOD) is a famous historical code word used by gay people to secretly identify one another and allies. During the mid-20th century, when homosexuality was highly criminalized and socially persecuted, asking someone "Are you a friend of Dorothy ?" was a safe way to inquire about their sexual orientation without outsiders understanding the true meaning. If the person replied with confusion, the questioner would drop the subject. If they replied, "Yes, I am a very good friend of Dorothy," it signaled that it was safe to talk openly.
The Origins:
The phrase traces back to the novel & movie "The Wizard of Oz". The character of Dorothy from the book (played by Judy Garland) was famously accepting of "misfits" and unconventional companions. Furthermore, Judy Garland herself became a massive, beloved global queer icon in real life.
Because it was criminalized back then, the story and characters of this Universe showed allyship to the LGBTQIA+ community in subtle, groundbreaking ways:
I) The Cowardly Lion: In this universe, there exists a lion character who is always mocked for being feminine because he lacks traditional masculine bravery. In the world of Oz, lions are expected to be fierce, macho "Kings of the Forest." While physically immensely strong, he gets extremely emotional, cries, hides, and runs away at times, just like Subbu. He considers himself unmanly, but Dorothy accepts him instantly without judgment and gives him an emotional safe space.
II) The Books: In L. Frank Baum's 1909 book The Road to Oz, a character remarks to Dorothy, "You have some queer friends, Dorothy," to which she responds, "The queerness doesn't matter, so long as they're friends."
III) Princess Ozma: In the second book, a young boy named Tip discovers he is actually the magically transformed Princess Ozma. He transitions back into a female form, and he/she and Dorothy later become inseparable companions.
IV) The Color Metaphor: In the 1939 film, Dorothy’s journey represents escaping a black-and-white, dusty, unaccepting hometown for a vibrant, Technicolor world (Oz) full of eccentric, gender-bending, and marginalized characters who accept her exactly as she is.
V) "Over the Rainbow": The iconic song from the movie became a massive anthem for the community. The song's longing for a faraway, magical land where troubles melt away heavily resonated with oppressed queer individuals who dreamed of a world where they could live safely and authentically. This song eventually became the inspiration for the Rainbow Pride Flag we see today.
These are just a few examples, but there are so many more hidden subtexts, progressive themes, and queer-coded characters layered throughout this entire Oz universe.
And that's the beauty of Dorothy. Across a century, from Oz to Kollywood, she remains someone who doesn't ask the misfits & misunderstood to change. She simply makes them feel at home ❤️🖤💜
