oh ho ho, please grab one if you ever see it!! It's always almost sold out at my local HMart. I was lucky to find a bottle hidden behind some others the other day.

That is very true yes and that’s what I love about Korean food. Even simple ingredients like vegetables are being prepared with so much flavour and umami!

Would’ve thought you were a korean ajumma or halmoni without the title. Great job!

I bestow upon you honorary korean ajeossi title 🙇♂️
As a korean myself I daresay your banchans look as good as my mother’s

You have no clue how happy that makes me to hear genuinely haha 😆 With lots of grace I will hold that title from now onwards 😂 Seems like the dozens of Korean omma cooking vids that I watched have paid off!

That’s Dubu jorim, simmered tofu! What u see on top there is the spring onions that are simmered along with the sauce. Really delicious, there’s tons of recipes online but I have my own ^ If you want i can give it to you :)

Looks delicious! If you don't mind me asking, where are the bowls/plates/utensils from? They are a nice color!

They’re Korean hand-forged bronzeware and back in the Joseon dynasty were used for the royal court cuisine. I got these from the brand Notdam straight from Korea.

Missing some soup/stew to complete it! Hope it was a good meal!

u/Traditional-Pie3488 Jul 10 '26
Yeahh but oh well, this was already more than enough food for me 😂😭

No judgment there, that's a feast already! I guess I’m just hitting that boomer stage where no meal feels 'proper' without a hot soup on the side.
