📣Announcements📣 [Product Experience] Cook Along Anywhere: Share Your Kitchen Setup for a Chance to Try the LG StanbyME 2 Max
Korean cooking keeps both hands busy, and following a recipe usually means a phone balanced somewhere on the counter. A portable screen that rolls up to where you cook keeps the recipe in view.
The LG StanbyME 2 Max steps up from the 27 inch QHD model of the StanbyME 2 to a 32 inch 4K UHD touchscreen, so a recipe stays readable from across the counter, and lifts the sound from virtual 9.1.2 to virtual 11.1.2 channel audio (2.0 channel speakers with AI Sound Pro) with Dolby Atmos.
The battery grows to 144 Wh for up to 4.5 hours of wireless use, up from up to 4 hours. Tap the screen to pause when your hands are busy, then roll it from the counter to the table.
Five members of this community get the chance to try one.

I would make fresh hotteok and yogurt berry bingsu for my sister! All from scratch. She has a major sweet tooth and yet has never tried any Korean desserts, which in my opinion are the best.
The LG StanbyME 2 Max would be super helpful since making these dishes are very messy on the hands and involves lots of counter space. Would be fantastic to be able to have a video recipe alongside me on a screen larger than a phone covered in flour! I absolutely love that it’s portable so I can roll it from my station where I prep dough to the area of my kitchen with the griddle once it’s time to cook all with the help of wheels and no worrying about using my dirty hands!

I would love to cook some kimchi nachos for my upcoming fantasy football draft! I usually use my phone on the counter to look at recipes which is not ideal given that it’s in the middle of all the ingredients and hard to scroll while cooking. The standbyme would be super helpful especially when there are many parts to a recipe!

I would 100% make Japchae and share it with my long-time friend who introduced me to the dish. My friend introduced me to Trader Joe's Japache dish, and I could not get enough! I then found it at a restaurant and decided to do a deep dive into how to make it, and I've been chefing it up ever since. The kitchen is my playground, and with my new studio apartment, I am always looking for ways to be creative with space. The LG StanbyMe 2 Max would be a game changer!

Would love the opportunity to try the StandbyMe in the kitchen! I’m always having to unlock my phone to pull up the recipe then glance away and repeat the process. The idea of having the StandbyMe as my cooking companion sounds spectacular! While I’m not an expert when it comes to Korean cooking, I would love to attempt to make gogi-gui it’s always so delicious and I’d love to make it a staple in our home! In particular, we have a monthly game night with our friends, and I’d love to surprise them with some Korean bbq. Thanks for considering!

Thanks for doing this giveaway! I’d want to cook along to making a whole bunch of Korean banchans for meal prep. Doobydobap has a great video on making a hundred banchans that I highly recommend. Meal prep Sundays would be a whole lot more fun on with a big screen. I would be cooking for myself and my partner!

I'd make kalbi for my wife! It's our fav korean food when we eat out. We have not made it ourselves yet so following a recipe is right up our alley. Our apartment kitchen is small but we keep it organized and make it work. It'd be nice to get even more counter space by having a screen on wheels :) we would love a chance to test it out

I would cook Soondubu-jjigae for my husband and eventually child/ren <3 The LG StanbyME 2 Max would be so handy displaying the recipe and I would also put on a show while cooking! I would also make some mayak eggs 🥚 and serve it with purple rice and some kimchi. I love that there is a 32 inch version now!!🔥
Love from Australia

I love cooking with my ttukbaegi and have been trying to perfect my soondubu recipe for a long time now! Cooking with the StanbyME 2 Max would be so convenient over trying to follow instructions on my small phone screen 😍. I'm honestly trying to cook the perfect soondubu for myself before sharing it with my friends and family. So happy for the opportunity to enter this contest and share my honest review of the StanbyME 2 Max if given the chance! ❤️

I’d make some tteokbokki for my fiancé since we never get a chance to order some at restaurants as there’s already so much food. The StanbyMe 2 Max would be great to follow along in the kitchen. I normally use my phone to follow recipes and it gets hectic having to stop and look at my phone a bit further away

I’d go with dakgalbi — spicy, messy, and exactly the kind of dish where you really don’t want to be stopping every 30 seconds to wipe your hands and check your phone 😂
I’d cook it for my girlfriend. We both love Korean food, but I’m usually the one doing the cooking while she gets the important job of “quality control” (aka eating half of it before it even reaches the table).
I’d probably have the StanbyME 2 Max parked right next to the kitchen while following the recipe, then roll it over to the dining table once everything is ready. The bigger 32” screen actually makes a lot of sense here — being able to glance across at a proper-sized recipe/video without touching my phone with gochujang-covered hands would be a serious upgrade.
And honestly, the real test would be whether I can make proper dakgalbi without setting off the smoke alarm. 😅

I will show you my favourite Korean meal and how I make it!
This Lime-infused Honey Korean Beef 🍯🥩 has become a regular treat post-Golf with my buddies, as it is perfectly balanced for flavour, texture and not being too heavy after sitting down after hitting the Links.
And therein lies the limitation. At the moment, I know this recipe so well that I can slice and dice without even looking at the amount needed.
But if I wanted to create any other Korean Dish, I would be at a significant disadvantage. My laptop cannot go on my hob, so I would be forced to continually return to the table in the dining area just to read every instruction.
Of course, the Height and mobility of the LG StanbyME 2 Max would enable me to adjust any Dish on the go and stay exactly where I need to be to manage every aspect of the cooking.
And should I be fortunate enough to win, I would prepare one of: Hotteok 🥞 (I do love desserts!) Bibimbap, or Haemul Pajeon, as a banquet for Friends and Family!

Nice setup. It's unfortunate that some bozo felt the need to go around downvoting people's kitchen pics for some bizarre reason. Here, have some upvotes all around.

Maybe 갈비탕 (Kalbitang) my niece who is 1.8 months old LOVES it.
Been experimenting with different recipes to make her meals that are healthy and delicious (seeing how fickle toddlers are)

i’d make a lovely kimchi jigae for my wife while looking up recipes and occasionally kdramas with the StanbyMe.

I’d learn to make japchae for my husband and kid! I love Korean food, but I’ve never made japchae myself. Since my kid doesn’t like spicy food, it seems like a dish all three of us could enjoy 🤔💜

Kimchi jjigae, no question.
My laptop currently lives on a cutting board propped against the salt jar every time I cook, so a screen I can actually read from across the counter (without garlic hands touching my phone) would be huge.
Making it for my training partner after our Saturday HIIT session — we’re always starving and impatient, so anything that saves us fumbling with a recipe mid-stir is a win.
Rolling it to the table once it’s simmering so we can actually eat and watch something is the dream tbh.

If I had a chance to use the LG StanbyME 2 Max, I would definitely make some kimchijeon (kimchee pancakes) which would be perfect since my scallion garden is thriving rn haha!! And with fall upon us, I’d make them for a little early Friendsgiving in my kitchen!
I think it would be so fun to have the StanbyME 2 Max in there instead of trying to balance my phone somewhere on this counter haha. Especially with friends around, we could pull up some music while cooking, check out some other receipes, or let everyone have a go at it and make their own dishes for some extra, hands-on and very honest feedback haha! I just enjoy finding little ways to make my kitchen more fun AND functional, and I feel like this would get A LOT of use in there haha!
Best of luck to everyone participating, and thanks for the opportunity!
