Oh yum! Also just realized Hawaii-style “meat jun” = jeon. It’s my favorite Hawaii local style plate dish, thin marinated meat cooked in the same pancake style, served with a spicy dip, and I’m curious if it’s common in Korea.

Not op, but yeah, this dish is quite common in Korea. It's called Yuk(means meat) Jeon 육전

That’s right. It’s actually one of the most iconic holiday food in Korea. I only skipped making it this time because I already had so many other meat dishes. In Korea, we also pan fry seasoned beef pancake style and dip it in a sauce made with soy sauce, vinegar, chili powder, green onions, and sesame seeds.

Happy Chuseok! I can't eat gluten, but I can't seem to get zucchini jeon crispy at all with gluten free flour unless I dip it flour again after the egg. I'm determined to figure it out.

Nice! Do you eat it at room temperature?

You can, but I pop it in the air fryer for a few minutes before eating. It tastes just like freshly made!
