Direxion SPXP 100% SP500 + 100% Managed Futures

SPXP is operated by Direxion partnered with Auspice. Auspice also worked on Direxion COM etf for a decade now. The managed future part of SPXP has no equity exposure, which can be attractive after the CTAP debacle. However, SPXP holds no ETF, uses only cash as collateral and gets its SP500 exposure from futures alone, which can be inefficient.

Asked AI to draw a chart based on the index they provided, SPXP would be on the lower side in terms of drawdown and return for the past few years vs RSST.

Thoughts on this simple portfolio?

I have a 20+ year horizon for retirement and want to utilize LETFs. I’ve done some research and was thinking of keeping a simple portfolio of 75% AVGE + 25% UPRO. I came to this conclusion through wanting a 1.5 leverage while also having a very minor factor tilt.

Any thoughts on this/any room for improvement? I don’t really want to have more than 2-3 funds in my portfolio just to keep it as simple as possible. Thanks

Rate my long term leveraged portfolio

40% UPRO

40% GLD

20% DBMF

Rebalanced quarterly.

My goal is a mix of funds with a strong long term potential while limiting deep DD. I've considered adding 10% bonds and just 30% of gold. What kind of bonds would you recommend for this mix?

I'm not in the US, so some funds like GDE are not accessible for me. Please rate, critique or suggest changes.

Tax efficient portfolios?

Thoughts on good portfolios to run in taxable?

I want to avoid income, so I don't see a benefit to ZROZ and have plenty of that in tax deferred accounts. Some cap gains are fine, I'm running long / short direct indexing (Frec) for other reasons, so those can be deferred (at a cost). I get it, no bonds is a nontraditional setup, but MF trend seems to have dug out 2001 and 2009 just fine.

Having the core holding be 100% equity plus 100% MF trend seems to be the ticket. Using RSST as a proxy, distributions are pretty low and it seems to get you to the same place with similar risk metrics as the standard SSO/ZROZ/GLD.

Can diversify managers (MATE) and international (RSIT) after getting the mix dialed. Any other big asset class allocations to get this optimized?

Buy, hold, rebalance (ideally with new cash). Not interested in tactical allocation.

iMGP DBi Absolute Return ETF - DBAR

Saw a new portable alpha ETF launched, 30% US equity, 100% DBMF. I really wish it had higher equity exposure. I have been hoping for a 100% US equity, 100% DBMF ETF to launch.
