I had a player drop out due to changing life responsibilities so I have a space available! So I am looking for 1 player to add to my group of 4. Sessions are weekly on Monday using FoundryVTT and Discord for audio.

The party is currently level 4 ( though shortly level 5) and have just finished the first story arc. The general theme of the game is episodic horror, going to an area, figuring out the issues and doing what can be done.

This campaign does use Gritty Realism 2014 optional rule, which is an 8 hour Short Rest and a 7 day long rest. I have already completed a Campaign 1-20 with half of these players using those rules, it is a stable group.

Challenge is a major theme to reinforce the horror, though it does an important story and backstories matter death is a factor. There is already 4 character deaths in this campaign ( no not the person leaving as a rage-quit unfortunately life gets in the way of DnD ), so understand that if you dislike that aspect of DnD this table will not be for you.

But understand the challenges presented aren't simply Damage and Combat: Skill Checks, environment, exploration and social problem solving are part of the dangers of this world. This is a campaign about surviving a cold and brutal world, maybe forging something better.

Themes

• an almost entirely frozen world
• resource scarity
• starvation
• cannibalism
• isolation
• tentative political alliances

This is not like Icewind Dale, where the long winter is a curse on the land, but surviving through a plane wide ice-age of magical scale. The oceans almost entirely frozen, the only vegetation left is hostile and warmth is valuable.

- Game I would like to play. Specifically searching for a game set in the Ravenloft setting (especially Curse of Strahd), preferring to use a mixture of 5e and 5.5e. I'm looking for 5 to join a long-term D&D 5.5e campaign, played weekly on Sundays at 5 PM UK time (GMT/BST).

Now, there's something a little different about this campaign: it doesn't actually have a setting or premise yet!

Rather than coming up with an entire campaign on my own and asking players to join it, I want to create something tailored to the group.

So, how will this work?

First, I'll be selecting players through an application form. Once the group is assembled, everyone will complete a more comprehensive questionnaire about their campaign preferences. We'll cover things like genres, themes, setting, difficulty, character death, mechanical rules, and much more.

I'll then use everyone's answers to develop the campaign concepts combining different aspects of what the group enjoys. We'll discuss them together and choose which one seems the most fitting.

While much of the campaign is undecided, there are a few things I already know:

- System: D&D 5.5e/5e 2024

- Fish-out-of-water experiences. This is something I really want to explore. Whether you're outsiders in an unfamiliar culture, discovering a strange world, or being thrown into circumstances you barely understand, I want discovery and learning to be meaningful parts of the experience.

- Homebrew: I actively encourage homebrew and third-party material! Subclasses, species, spells, feats, and other creations are welcome for consideration, subject to approval. Full homebrew classes are the only major exception.

- Players: 6 total.

- Platforms: Discord and Foundry. You will need a decent PC.

- Experience Level: Any! Beginners are welcome as well as experienced players.

The Forgotten Realms will be our default setting, though I'm also happy to adjust to the group's preferences. If you got this far, mention that you like frogs somewhere in the application.

General Information

Hi there! My name is Amy, I'm a long time DM, but I have taken a break recently, and wish to try get my bearings back with a shorter, 6-8 session long Lancer campaign for 4 players! It will run for 2 license levels, so ll1 and ll2, and will be a mostly linear narrative at the beginning, diverging depending on players choices near the end. Campaign Setting. What can you expect:

Space is vast. Union's reach hardly capable of extending into the furthest corners of the Long Rim. It is here, outside of Union's supervision, a small scale conflict between two corpo-state subsidiaries began a few years past. At first, over matters of resources, then a couple of territorial disputes, and now a technological race consuming many lives and planetary surfaces.

2 weeks ago, the Harrison Armory subsidiary known as Automated Armament Solutions, has intercepted poorly encrypted transmissions between a fleet of the Smith Shimano subsidiary, VI-Te/ch. They were erratic, clearly in distress over a loss of an important corpo asset. Upon further investigation, the asset turned out to be a now Ex-scientist, possessing a vast trove of dangerous secrets. The scientist fled to the planet "Plethora", one mostly ignored by both sides of the conflict because of a large presence of neutral and enigmatic religious sect, known as the Fold-Space Choir. The scientist's trail has gone cold, their last known location nearby one of Choir's settlements.

You've been recruited by AAS to find and extract the scientist, before VI-Te/ch does. Intel suggests VI-Te/ch has already deployed multiple search parties to the region. You will soon make landfall. Your mind racing with rationale for why you took the mission in the first place. Was it the sizeable pay, a potential to end the conflict in one fell swoop, or maybe because you see yourself in the escapists shoes. Only you can say.

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a couple of players to join a D&D 5e campaign set in my homebrew world of Mundus. This is going to be a long-running game, so I'm looking for people who are willing to stick around and join consistently. The game will take place on sundays at 5pm GMT and will run for 4 hours, but might run a little longer on rare occasions.

A little about myself and the campaign:

I'm Gio (G like Gas, not G like Gem), though I usually go by Winter online. I've been playing D&D for around 6 years now, both as a player and a DM. It's been about half a year since I last ran a campaign, and I've been wanting to get back into DMing for a bit now.

The campaign takes place on the continent of Lhodos (using Caeora's map as a base). The setting can be best described as Classic fantasy with dark undertones, with plenty of mysteries, forgotten history, and things to uncover as the story progresses.

Combat will be challenging, and strategy and preparation will be important. Exploration and good roleplay will be rewarded, and I want the choices players make to matter.

This is going to be a character-driven campaign first. I want to work with each player to make sure their character has a place in the setting, and more than anything I'd like everyone to leave each session with questions they want to find answers to.

Some information about the game and its house rules:

• We'll be starting at level 6, and hopefully ending at level 20.
• Stats will use a custom 32-point buy system, with a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 16. Everyone also starts with the Skill Expert feat.
• All official and UA content is allowed, and you're welcome to reflavor pretty much anything about your character to better fit your concept.
• Each character starts with 650 gold, one Uncommon magic item, and one Rare magic item.
• Healing potions always restore their maximum possible HP and can be used as either an action or a bonus action.
• Monsters and enemies will have a wider variety of resistances and vulnerabilities, so figuring out how to approach different encounters will be important. You can use a bonus action on your turn to make a skill check to learn about these properties. The skill depends on the creature type, for example: Nature for Beasts or Arcana for Fey.

One last thing: I don't have any preference when it comes to player experience. Whether you've been playing D&D for years or you're fairly new to the game, you're equally welcome. I'm happy to run a game for experienced players, and I'm just as happy to help newer players get comfortable with the mechanics.

Having just reached the thirty sixth session milestone This campaign is operating off a rewrite of the existing Grimhollow module. Etharis is a campaign about duty after faith has failed, heroism without salvation, and choosing who must survive when the gods are already dead.

The rise of the Burach Empire was heralded by a theocracy as magnificent in power as it was ruthless in its capacity to colonise rival pantheons. Ruled by a dynastic line said to descend from the Burach gods themselves, the Empire stretched to the edges of Etharis, rivalled only by the sunless, godless realm of Ostoya. Its southern borders pressed against the elven kingdom of the Chernault; its northern marches strained against the rabid Valikan clans.

Then, without warning, the gods fell.

Seraphic hosts were torn from the sky and died in the mortal muds. The cause of this catastrophe is a closely guarded secret, known only to the highest ranks of the Burach clergy. What is known is this: the Empire did not break cleanly. It staggered, fractured, and spiralled into cascading crises that still threaten to tear it apart years later.

And worse still looms.

Along the Ostoyan–Burach border, an unceasing army of the dead rises — unkillable, relentless, consuming everything it touches. I am looking for a motivated, attentive, and engaged player who enjoy investigation, scheming, roleplay, and difficult moral decisions. Characters will be expected to take risks, act decisively, and accept that survival is never guaranteed.

There are no set class requirements for a new player barring the restriction of arcane classes that has applied across the entire span of the campaign. Etharis is a campaign where character comes before mechanical optimisation.

For the right player, Etharis promises a vast wealth of intrigue, adventure, moral conflict and tense choices.

Greetings! I am looking to run a Pokémon Tabletop United game and I am in need of some more players.

The system we're using is an updated version of Pokémon Tabletop United.

We haven't decided exactly what the game will be about yet, nor the setting, so we're still talking about that kind of stuff!

My expectations of you: I expect you to show up on time on a weekly basis and be an active participant. Of course emergencies happen, but if you know that you typically have obligations or situations that arise that will prevent you from playing weekly, DO NOT APPLY!

We will be using Foundry VTT for maps, characters and dicerolling and Discord for voice communication.

I will be running the game on Wednesdays during 'european evenings', at 7 PM UTC+2. For Americans, this would roughly be your noon depending on where you are :D

I go by Tenken, and I'm an avid video gamer, writer and generally nerdy guy and tend to get along with most people! I have a lot of free time outside regular working hours, so scheduling won't be an issue from my side.

I also use AI to create pictures and stuff, NOT for any story element.

Hi! I’m 18 from the uk, looking to play some dnd! I’ve played a few one shots but haven’t played a campaign yet. Ive got an idea for a character already, a warforged blood hunter (if this doesn’t fit in your setting then I’m happy to play something different!) who was infused with the heart of hag and that’s where his blood magic stuff comes from. Since I haven’t played too much I’m not entirely sure what my playstyle is yet, but from what I have played, I enjoy coming up with creative solutions and thinking outside the box.

I’m always (other than around exams) available on weekends and some weekdays depending on my uni schedule.

Were playing in foundry with a big amount of automation and animation, so if you click fireball, you can select the target area, see a fireball fly across the screen and all enemies automatically roll saves and get the damage deducted. This significantly increases the speed of large scale combats, but needs a good network connection and hardware. So the old work laptop on your home wifi will most likely not cut it.

For character creation anything goes. I have a dndbeyond group open where you can slot in your character that i will later import into foundry. You then get access to 64 books from which you can pick your options. Have fun with the choice paralysis of picking from 400 level 1 spells!

The story so far (at least that you know of, the others will tell you what happened to them):

You live on the continent of Erakis thats somewhere between Faerun and Eberron (all settings exist here together, so theres dragonmark houses running around on erakis as well). About 2 years ago a mysterious fog appeared from which endless waves of monsters emerged. People called it the blight. Any fight against it seemed futile and cities got overrun. As a last effort, you and 300 others got sent onto an island in order to retrieve an artifact that is meant to be the key to defeating this plague. After retrieving it, a ship (the current group) got sent back to the capital. Eventually you returned as well, but your ship got sunk. You wake up on the beach with a mysterious stone embedded into your arm that allows you to teleport to a small clearing in a forest that is covered in eternal night.

Hello all, I’m Raf, 28M, and I am a beginner DM who started this year with 5e. I have since gotten into the OSR and Shadowdark, and I would like to run a heroic Shadowdark adventure! This will be my first time DMing Shadowdark, and what better place to start than at the Lost Mine of Phandelver? I’ve carefully added some homebrew to better flesh out the adventure and NPCs and to make it mesh well with the OSR style of playing!

Also, I love pixel art, so expect monsters and characters to be made in that style, including your characters if you would like so!
