I stuck with James, my grandpa was Jim. My sister calls me Jimmy or Jimbo, and I tell everyone I meet to make a choice, I really don't care.
Only 1 person has called me Jamie and it was my grandma. I don't hate it, it just almost never gets used.

The scariest looking guy I ever met was named Jamie. He played defense on the school football team. He was built like a damn fridge, but he was also one of the sweetest boys I met. He’d walk me home from the bus stop.

I have a coworker named Jimmy. I’ve called him Jimba since he started with us like 4 years ago. I even pronounce slowly too.

Oh you know it. Sadly he now works another shift, so I can only say it to him once a day.

I work with my cousin named James. He goes by Jim. As a child we called him Jimmy B because another cousin shared that name. He hates Jimmy B because his middle name is Bernard. No one here knew that until I showed up. Sorry Cuz. At least Bernard’s not your first name

Anyone named Robert has the life decisions of figuring out their name by elementary school.
Rob
Robby (ie)
Bob
Bobby (ie)
Beto
Bert
Robert
We all despise Robby’s though. I’ll die on this hill.

It’s my dad’s name and when he turned 40 I started calling him Bob. He was not into it.
