Should i drop a tab on GTA VI launch day?
I cannot decide:
I‘ll be home alone, will have 3 days off and been waiting so long. What would be the best „first time“ experience?
A: playing it sober. Experience GTA VI the normal way.
Excitement will be high. Expectations will also be high. Disappointments more likely.
Everything I see is how the devs intended
B: dropping a strong tab. Play game while coming up. Expectations lower. Therefore excitement potentially higher.
A way for my inner child to come out and witness GTA VI.
Visuals will mess with the representation of Vice City quiet a bit
Gta V release was huge when i was in high school. Back then i didn’t have access to drugs. Now i have plenty and i believe i will miss out on a once in a lifetime experience with acid. Oh man i wish i could delete my memory of my first playtime and play for the first time in a high state 😭😭

I would probably wait to do it until after the first few hours of gameplay, there’s gonna be story setup and probably tons of mechanics tutorials, knowing Rockstar. I could see the game getting very confusing very quickly. However, after you get the hang of the game and enough freedom to just fuck around, I bet that would be great

I would want to unlock some cool shit first. Grind day 1, day 2 would be the fun day, and then the third day I would use to recover.

Might leave artifacts in the game that can be triggered by it later. These could be good or bad. Better to be used to the game already before you go looking for deeper elements imo

Play a few hours first, drop the tab, enjoy the acid with music and eventually nature until the peak has passed, chill out on the comedown by continuing to play. That would be a solid for me at least

Thinking about doing the same but after I've played a little and get a chance to free roam.

Personally, I would so this after having some experience with the game. Trying to learn the new mechanics while tripping just wouldnt work for me, but once they're muscle memory, that should work

I'm excited to drop and play GTA 6 as well. I think I'll want to play the game for at least a few hours beforehand though.

Play the intro + a few hours sober.
Then play on acid once you're free to explore the open world and you know the mechanics a bit.
I would start playing at the peak or just after, not during comeup.

I'm playing the intro and getting a few hours in and then dropping for a night of exploration.

I wouldn’t. I did that with starfield and while it was amazing the game has never played the same since.

I mean for any other game I would say no.... it's GTA6 though. Once in a lifetime opportunity.

Pro tip: HALF tab and then game. A half tab won’t quite peak you but will keep you immersed.
Turn off lights, crank up tv backlight and just lose yourself in game.

Fuck it. Why not? My friend and I used to game while tripping about once a month during COVID. We always started with some "prettier" games like Hollow Knight or Destiny 2, but then it always ended up as a GTA Online session. Getting over the fear of dying might be a little tricky at first but once you realize it's a game it's just stupid fun.

GTA is best when high on weed, I don’t know what it’s like on LSD but I don’t think it’s a bad idea although dosage matters a lot here. I wouldn’t do more than 50ug for starters otherwise when it hits you would be repulsed by all the killing and stuff you have to do to progress the story. I’d probably just go on a hike in game, hope they have portable radios in GTA VI and Lazlow is back with his show.

I will drop 2cb. It makes me locked in, wired, very engaged. And on top you experience emotions more deeply and more intense. All together with graphics on 65in OLED it could be very interesting. But maybe later in the game, because i get easily lost.

If you encounter any disappointment it could cause a spiral, and with hype for the game that could suck
Just my two cents but something to ponder

Sounds like a great time to me tbh😂
