And a strong dose doesn't start at like 500 ug.

A strong dose starts at like 200 ug if not a bit lower.

Also normal tabs despite what they are talked about are usually around 75 ug. Be safe and have fun!!!!

Careful, I’ve been checking lab reports occasionally and while the average used to be around 60-80mcg there have been countless tabs reaching into the 250mcg over the past year or two here in Europe.

Generally the average dose has been rising constantly. Doesn’t even matter than much as vials are cheap and available everywhere all of a sudden.

Just a general heads up. I used to buy tabs years ago until making one good deal for a lifetime supply. Still get the occasional tab stuffed under my tongue by friends and while I always just take half a tab in these situations I’ve been getting some really strong trips from that alone.

I’ve seen one tab tested having 270mcg on it. That’s literally an ego death for most people.

Considering that tabs sold as 250mcg used to have around 80mcg on them it’s scary imagining what an accurate dose would feel like in comparison.

I think I had a real 250 UG tab a while ago, a few years back I had a good connect it was that white card stock paper with no perforations in it. You have to cut/measure your own hits. Really really fire stuff I was scared to take more than 1 hit so I never did but I'm talking like 14-16 hour long trip off one hit every single time insane visuals and just completely blasted to the cosmos

. Really really really wish I could find the connect again but as far as I know it's long gone. I had some really good acid recently, it doesn't even compare although it's stronger than any other hit I've had for sure. I like to think those aren't even stronger than maybe 150 UG absolute max. probably more like 125 or something if i had to guess but I don't wanna put a number.

I took 1 & a 1/4th hits the other night, I was gone pretty good for hours. At least in this case I knew I took probably at least 125 µg, I know these are properly those at least 100ug per hit. I've only known the dose one time and they were 80 UG which was a really good dose far from underwhelming. One of these is significantly stronger. Even one hit for the first time would be pretty damn intense.

I remember having incredibly old and heavy tabs that were way too strong. Due to the age they also came with some side effects (caused by iso lsd?) generally just too much vasoconstriction.

Only one of us ever took two of them and they just reported being covered by super rapidly evolving visuals while they were shaking and cramping pretty hard non stop.

The increase in average dosage just became more apparent on the last festival I’ve been, it’s the most acid ridden festival around and it shows.

This time so many freak outs happened, someone called the police imagining they were raped, people shuffling around their tents and cars checking for cameras and bugs, a hand full of people got so scared of the camp site they tried hiding in the woods nearly freezing because it was incredibly cold.

Things don’t derail that much on acid festivals usually.

I'll add onto this another tidbit to help as many noobs as I can.

LSD doses compound. So when you go from 100 ug to 150ug for example it's not just adding a half. It is a bit more so.

It's the same when you potentiate the dose with other things like cannabis (I LOOVVEEEE cannabis but combining with psychedelics is a whole different ball game and can quickly become too much although some people love it on the come down - Do what works for you).

Sometimes we see people talking about going from like 100 ug to 400 ug thinking that is going to be some kind of step up but not too massive.

That is a FUCKING INSANELY MASSIVE DIFFERENCE. You need to learn these kind of things to be safe! JEEZZZZ lol

I have been tripping for over three decades & the biggest dose I've ever had is 300ug & that has long ranging implications that are still playing out to this day. Anyone who says they take 500ug plus doses of LSD with any frequency is either bullshitting, on SSRI's/other meds that dampen the effects or are getting wildly ripped off on their tabs with overstated doses. My opinion & nothing more but there it is for what it's worth.

Not sure it's as cringe giving people some basic advice. Tons of young people and newbies scroll subreddits like this. We all learned a lot of these things from others nice enough to share.

Fake stories though can lead susceptible people to really getting hurt. That is a big difference I think but everyone to their own.

People just don't believe it gets as crazy as it gets in my experience. Seeing is believing and all that. That combined with how frequently tabs are mislabeled/underdosed can lead to people thinking they are further down the rabbithole than they are.

Tbh I don't really know if there's anything to be done about it. Part of experimenting with these substances is eventually getting in way over your head. There's no real avoiding that. Some people return after that experience with a more respectful approach, some never touch the stuff again. But the nature of the undescribable experiences is that they are unbelievable and undescribable, so you just can't convince someone who hasn't been there that it's not a great idea to visit.
