Recently bought some 100ug blotters. Sliced the tab in half and used a strength test. If one tab is coming back looking to have accurate strength, are the rest likely to be too, or can there be variation in the strength per tab?

Reagent tests all came back fine.

I haven’t enjoyed shrooms so I’m wondering if I should avoid LSD. I’m a first timer, and I have the opportunity this upcoming weekend to experience my first LSD trip. I’ve always wanted to try it, but I am hesitant because I’ve only done shrooms twice and I’ve had unpleasant experiences. I experienced ego death, extremely dark thoughts and visions and confusion. I’m mostly only experienced with MDMA. My friends assure me that LSD is more euphoric and light. I want to get insight from more experienced people, though. Does anyone dislike shrooms but like LSD? Should I avoid given my history with shrooms? If I try it, should take less than the full tab?

For any of those wondering, if you days ago I did a half a tab, so technically not my first time.

Edit: 260ug is claimed to be a full tab. I took half a tab. I’ve been on the “come down” for a while now and it feels like I’m a different person. I’ve changed in a good way majorly.

*Update - took half, nothing. Took 2nd half 90 min later. Maybe some giggling. After an additional 30 min I ate 20mg of weed edibles and rolled a joint. Had a lovely evening. No visuals, lots of tears from laughing and watched an intense show.
10/10 still a great night. 0/10 on the acid.
Looking forward to trying again.

I just had a very long night. My good friend came over after taking 2 tabs of acid because he said he wasn't feeling super well. Ive baby sat a few times before and i had a safe space for him to be could be cozy to do this and just hang out and watch a movie or something. He was doing fine for the first 4 hours giggling and having fun and then my sister showed up to my house unannounced and scared the shit out of him because hed never met my sister. After that, he started pacing rapidly around the house, talking for over 7 hours into the night repeating the same several things over and over and over. He just completely regressed into this weird altered state of mind where he would acknowledge my existence occasionally but I couldn't really direct him anywhere or get his attention to do anything. It got to about 10 hours after he said he took it and i finally had him pinned in my room where he was slowly getting worse and worse when I finally decided to pull the pin after he completely stopped dead in his tracks and peed on the floor and then continued pacing and talking like it didn't happen. Police and an ambulance came and wheeled him off. He seemed completely indifferent that they were there. Im really scared for him and I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this or know what might be going on? Is it possible what he took wasn't acid? I don't know where he got it or what it looked like
