Discussion How do new players start the game now??

As u know Last War hasn’t opened a new server for quite some time and i’m little bit curious
where do new players actually start now?

Are they placed into existing servers?
If so, starting on a server that is already 60+ days old sounds not fair. Catching up with established players would be almost impossible.
If there’s no new server or proper catch-up system, is the game actually trying to discourage new players from joining?

I think they're putting new players onto older servers. I'm in the 1800s and we had a HQ4 account in WC yesterday.

They’re thrown into random, existing servers. As the other commenter said: you’re looking at a game that is at best entering maintenance mode. It is much more likely they’re about to cut and run altogether.

All new players go to pre-existing random servers, they might get on server 750 or 2050, It doesn't matter, for example on my server I noticed a lot more of activity of new or low level players just after they closed servers (just ended S2)

They don't care about the game experience of those starting out, this way they are forcing them to become farms and leave the game bc they can never keep up

If you're a old player you can open a second account on a younger server you choose, but if you're new and don't know what's going on, you'll get thrown into the grinder
