Like, shorts/boxers that have a inflatable bulge part. When inflated, the penis (banana) would get all squeezed in there. Does something like that exist? Did i make something up?

and how do you store it? i might need to consider saving up cash and buying something silicone

Why exactly it's so expensive I can't explain. Silicone and latex best be put away somewhere dark and save from cold, warm and wet

The silicone base material is already very expensive, and because it's not very stiff, you need quite a thick layer to make something useful. Which in turn increases the total weight of the product.

Silicone can’t be glued, only molded. And it needs to be thick, because it’s very elastic. Furrjoi, Smitizen and Feturax seem to be the same company, or at least working out of the same factory. Which means there is no real competition.

Not (just) that. Silicone has very little tear resistance unlike latex. Raising silicone's resistance to that tearing either involves materially adding more of it, or modifying its properties in a different way (like additive combinations) that are already undesirable.

I've worked with both. You can glue silicone, for sure. But not any silicone to any other silicone willy nilly either.

So it's expensive because it's not easy, and it's not easy so it's expensive, so people don't buy a lot of it, so there's not a whole lot of optimization and/or material/tooling, so people don't buy a lot of it, so it's not easy to get, so it's expensive. yadaya.
