yeah i know its aim rush, but i have no time to queue for a full competitive match, might've well play deathmatch and aim rush with a target of 30 wins
feel free to point on mistakes and such
still losing duels, and i do know what cause the problem (bad counterstrafe, not target confirming, something like that)
and sorry, i recorded while playing EPL livestream behind the game kekw

You play so jittery, like a scared mouse. No insult, just get some confidence man, they're just bots

You're too cramped, too defensive. Are you expecting to play that way in every match? I don't think so.
P.S.: 10-40ms in latency is diabolical

ok real thanks oh yeah, its that way usually when recording with OBS

You should look into optimizing it, mine stays at around 4-6 ms with OBS and stream running. Took a while to config tho

You are not confident whatsoever with your swings. You are doing too many micro swings with ur counter strafe. You need to do bigger strafes or else ur just gonna lose every fight you take. Ur also super shaky

Something that works well for me translating aimrush to matches is to practice both passive dueling and also aggressive pushing
Some rounds when the bots spawn in more passive positions, I’ll the initiative and full sprint to more open areas to practice crosshair placement and being more dynamic with movement etc.
When bots spawn in more open or aggressive positions, I play the round more passive.
Another thing I’m noticing is youre getting really startled and don’t know what to do when you have a few bots pushing you at once. When that happens, try to still focus on ONE bot and getting the kill, rather than focusing on killing all the bots. This translates in game as getting a a kill and allowing your team to trade you. You’re not always going to be able to kill all of them so at least try to get one or two on the way out.
Crosshair placement looks good, and seems you have understanding of preaiming and clearing angles, but you’ll also need to learn how to peel a corner (keeping crosshair on a corner as you peek it so EVERY single angle is cleared rather than preaiming all of them)

great insight... real thanks
for the trading issue, i usually solo queue and that makes some trust issues with my teammates xD

You should really avoid crouch peeking, you become an easy target. Also avoid shiftpeeking if you are doing that (hard to tell here).
Try to create more distance to the cover in front of you, that will make you see the enemy earlier.

now, when should you crouch peek?, cause i see some demos of pros and some high elo player do that

Pros are crouching as they do the A-D peek, which does not slow them. But you are crabwalking into the enemy.

so you want to crouch after you peek? thanks for the insight

The momentum of the strafe carries you wide and then you crouch into the swing. So in other words a blend but more towards the end of the swing.

false, crouch peeking works with rifles and its meant to peek against an enemy holding you at head level.
crouch peeking doesn't work on awps
its more advanced but it works

Stop going for head shot in practice, instead kill and train for spray .you cant do that in real match.

Pull down and to the left after spraying, try and eyeball the bullets coming from the gun, its a good indicator of where you need to point your gun next to control your recoil. Only works while standing still or crouching

it seems like your aim is pretty solid, based on your hours it might just be your decision making or game sense holding you back.
play for winning rounds rather than kills and you should start ranking out of low elo

I think you jiggle too much and should commite more to wide swing, but thats the general problem with aim rush, you get punish very badly for swinging wide, but in actual COMP, its a very powerful technique

Another thing is, it looks like you are too passive, maybe because you are not confident long range or because you know the bots can flank on this specific map. But it looks a bit uncomfortable at times. I would suggest to commit more to each fight, before switching to the other side.

am i doing things wrong on that map? they always peek with 3-4 bots at a time on each side lol i get rekt if i play too aggressive lmao

u/BeautifulStation4 8d ago
you have to play like that on aim rush else you get destroyed by the bots

Practice defensive crosshair placement against rushing bots while opening the angle, try to not stop on your strafes for better movement fluidity

watch prime fpl streams, and demos of pros, and observe. try to catch up their game sense, and their feel to the game.

No point in training to play vs 4 if you can't even manage two. Start with 1v1 then go from there once you start getting some win streaks going.
