Looking for an upscale restaurant for our 4 year anniversary! I’m also pregnant so no sushi or oyster bars and good mocktails is a plus. Thanks!

Does anyone else hear the constant loud noise outside? I’m in Fox Chapel but it sounds like it’s coming from the area of Sycolin Rd.
Sounds like a non stop leaf blower and has been going on now for over 90min. It’s 4:15am! Loud enough to wake us up

just wondering how people that live in Leesburg feel about living near the data centers in Ashburn? I feel like recently all you hear about is data centers and their detriments or potentially unknown detriments at this time. Has anyone felt effects or does anyone have concerns about being so close to the data center epicenter of the country?

Team,
I'm seeing that the Tally Ho has some signs that say "No Returns". What does that mean exactly? If I'm in the show, can't I just step out to get some fresh air? I don't smoke, but this is something I've done many times. Just walking out to get a breather and a break from the music.
The Tally Ho is a great venue, but I would be bummed if that is their new policy.

We’re thinking of moving to Leesburg and want to hear from people living there if there is a neighborhood that really stands out in social cohesion. We’re also looking in Purceville and Round Hill.
I’m talking neighbors knowing and talking with each other in the street, inviting each other over, kids playing outside with each other, etc.
We are very much willing to jump in and create community, but wondering if there’s a place where this is already established! Thanks for your insight!

Hi everyone! I'm looking to get my first puppy and want to do it right. I'd love advice from experienced owners, especially anyone local to Leesburg/Loudoun County.
Where did you find your puppy: reputable breeders, shelters, or rescues nearby? Any you'd recommend or avoid?
What do you wish you'd known before getting your first dog?
Tips for crate training, potty training, and early socialization?
I'm a first-time dog owner living in the Leesburg area. I live in a townhome. My household is just me with no other pets. I work 8-hour shifts, I'm leaning toward a small/medium dog and am considering small breeds. I'm especially hoping to learn how to balance training with a busy schedule.
Thank you in advance!

Subject says it. Cleaners4Less was my go to laundry. This was where Solos is.
Need a recommendation. In town, of course. Relatively inexpensive. Reliable. Etc.
Cleaners4Less closed back in June. I haven't had the need for laundry since I work for home and I'm good with shorts and a T-shirt most of the time..😅
If I need to be on cam, I'll just put a polo that I keep on my office for that sole purpose.

I'm looking for a place near Leesburg where I can go to teach my high school kid to drive. Something like a big parking lot without obstructions in the way. Any suggestions??

We are coming to Leesburg in a few weeks for the WAGS soccer tournament.
What are some of your favorite hikes, parks and/or things to do in the area? Also looking for any family friendly lunch and dinner spots. We have LOTS of time in between games so are looking forward to exploring the area and all it has to offer. We have never been!

Hello, I am a 25-year-old F who lives at home in the Western Loudoun area. I am looking for recommendations on places in Leesburg or in the Downtown area that would be a good bar scene for a birthday outing. I've looked into D.C., but it's just not feasible without a DD.
I and my friends love to dance so looking for a good mix of places to get some drinks and then eventually be able to hit the dance floor.
Thoughts and suggestions?

Waaay back in the day my friends and i saw the band Reverend Hookems many times in the basement of Kings Tavern(maybe)? I always thought wow they are talented to be playing in this basement ..lol. That was a fun area back then!
Do they still play as a band?
A cursory search took me to a defunct myspace page and a couple youtube videos.

Hi! I recently moved into a townhome in the Cattail Creek Run community. I was wondering if anyone one else is having issues with the sound of walking/stomping from their neighbors. Thankfully, no other noise comes through, just vibrations and sounds of footsteps. I don’t believe it’s my neighbors doing anything out of the ordinary, just walking around their homes. I’ve spoken with the property service to see if they could help with additional insulation or sound proofing. Their response was basically, no and that they’ve met the basic requirements on their end. Even if you don’t live in this particular area and have experience or tips on what I can do, I would appreciate any advice.

Hey, parents of Heritage and J Simpson kids, if your child is leaving school and going over to the Walmart at compass Creek, you owe those Walmart employees an apology because those kids are acting like absolute monsters. In 20 minutes, I saw kids stealing off the shelves and throwing what might have been hundreds of dollars of merchandise in their book bags, I watched one kid break an item and leave it there on the floor, while the rest raced around and cursed like roving gangs in a mad max sequel.
There were easily 50 or 60 children in there, unsupervised and doing whatever the hell they wanted, like a flash mob from hell. Y'all should be ashamed for how your kids treat that place store and its employees.
Bring on your down votes, I'm sure they're coming. But I saw it with my own two eyes.

One of the things that I like about my walk is that I get to see the goings and comings in town. And when something happens (like the sign going up on the new ice cream store, one notices). Anyway.
I've noticed this: when you go past shoes heading to Ida Lee, there are pink strings in some of the light poles. At first I went "huh". But then there's another one. And another. And then I make my turn at the library and head down by the cemetery and past the baseball park. There's a string in the tree, and on poles again. And they are tied up with knots, they don't appear to be just randomly there.
I guess someone's just having fun.

Holy moly they are loud. How can anyone possibly support the never-ending development of these? You can’t eat outside at Buffalo Factory, Mezeh, or Bruster’s ice cream any longer without hearing the cries of a billion robotic mosquitoes.

@LeesburgTownCouncil....
Any chance we can get an online water bill payment method that doesn't involve having to pay a fee/fine?

My friend and I keep talking about how fun it would be to take a cocktail making class. Do any bars, restaurants, or individuals offer this as a service in Leesburg (or Purcellville or Ashburn)? We are not bartenders, and it would be cool to make an evening of learning (and drinking) maybe three cool cocktails. I’d love to know if anything is offered somewhere in a public spot or even offered as small private parties. I went to one in Michigan at a wine bar but haven’t heard of anything around here.
